Note: The password for user EXEC nude is cisco. The password for privileged EXEC nude is class.

Step 1: Configure the Device Basics.

Note: Initially, you can only access router E-Branch2 through the console connection on NetAdrrin. a. Configure the following on E-Branch2:

-00000000 The router narre is EB2. -00000000 The privileged EXEC nude uses the following encrypted password: class. -00000000 Enable Telnet and console line Iogins and use the following password: cisco. -00000000 Configure the banner rressage-of-the-day b. c. as Authorized access only!

Using the Addressing Table, configure and activate all the necessary interfaces on E-Branch2. Configure correct host IP addressing.

-DDDODDDD Configure EPC2with the last IP address in the subnet. eDDDDDDDD Configure EPC4with the last IP address in the subnet.

Step 2: Discover the Network.

a. b. Explore the network to deterrrine the IP address of the serial interface that EastHQ uses to connect to E-Branch2. Rerrotely access EastHQ.

Step 3: Conf"lgure Static and Default Routing.

a. Configure connectivity to the West Region.

-DDDDDDDO Configure a static route on EastHQto the entire West Region. The West Region uses the address space.

Use the next-hop address argument.

-DDDDDDDD Configure a default route on EastHQ to send to the Internet all other traffic for destinations that are not found in the

EastHQ routing table. Use the exit interface argument. b. 'krify static and default routing.

Step 4: Conf"lgure EIGRP Routing.

Configure EIGRPon EastHQ, E-Branch1, and E-Branch2. a. b. c. d. e. f. Use AS nunber 100. Do not advertise the network between EastHQ and the Internet. Do not advertise the network between EastHQand the West Region. Advertise all other attached networks. Disable autorretic surnrrerization. Disable EIGRPupdates out interfaces where there are no EIGRPneighbors available.

g. On EastHQ, enter the one cornrrend in the EIGRProuting process that will propagate the default and static routes to E-Branch1 and E -Branch2.

Step 5: Modify the default EIGRP operation.

a. b. c. Configure the link between EastHQand E-Branch2 so that the correct bandwidth of 384 k/s is used in EIGRPcalculations. Configure E-Branch1 to advertise a surnrrery route for the subnets 192.168. O. 0/25 and to EastHQand E-Branch2. Configure E-Branch2to advertise a surnrrery route for the subnets 192.168.1. 0/26 and to EastHQand E-Branch1.

Step 6: Verify Full Connectivity.

Although these are not scored, the following connectivity tests should be successful.
-DDDODDDD Test connectivity to the West Region. -DDODDDDD Test connectivity to the Internet.
