The Bowen Baptist Association is participating in the annual food drive for the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home

. We have strong tradition in supporting this effort. On Thursday, March 21, there will be a truck loading at the Bowen Associational offices. Listed below are the items to be collected: Ramen Noodles, Honey, Mac & Cheese, Instant Potatoes, Coffee Creamer, Wal-Mart or Harvey’s Gift Cards (to purchase perishables). You can drop your items off by the church office by the 20th or take them directly to the Associational office. Brian Steward presented an exciting report on the progress of raising funds for the Youth Building. The cost of building the structure will be $374,000. There are currently $357,000 available leaving about $17,000 to reach our goal and break ground. THANK YOU for your faithfulness. IF you have not given yet, now is the time to reach deep and receive a blessing. I would like to see us break ground this month! I praise God for what He is doing in our worship and ministry. I know God continues to bless us because we are seeking to be continually faithful to Him. I look forward to being faithful in worship this Sunday. Paul

I have a note card addiction. Every time I pass the note card section in a store, I stop and pick out at least one pack. It is a problem. I have them stockpiled. Stockpiled, that is, until I moved here. You have been so gracious and giving to me I have used them all up to say "Thank you" for all the blessings you have poured out on me. I have so much to be grateful for especially this week. Thank you to all those who gave up their Saturday morning to help clean up the Preschool hallway. Thank you to all those who answered my call for Egg Hunt volunteers. Thank you to those who have already signed up for VBS. And thank you to the youth that help move Children's Resource Room supplies. It is not too late to help on an Egg Hunt team or bring individually wrapped non-melt able candy filled Easter eggs. We still need more of both! Casting Crowns– I still have Casting Crown tickets for sale for March 28th. The tickets are $25.00 and the concert is in Albany. We will be leaving early to grab some supper and to be in time for the “Meet and Greet” before the concert. Please see me or email me if you are wanting tickets. Haiti Folks– Please have your paperwork in by Sunday, March 10th. We will be having the “Ugandan Thunder” here in concert on March 9th @ 6:00.
