2.1 Updating the device driver ______________________________ To update the device driver during the operating system installation: 1) Create the Driver Update Diskette for Microsoft Windows using the image and tools provided in the /diskette directory of the CD. 2) Boot to the Windows installation CD and press F6. 3) Insert the diskette when prompted. To update the device driver on an existing installation: 1) Copy all of the files from the driver/ directory into a temporary directo ry on the system, or transfer them to the system using a diskette, USB key, or othe r media. 2) Start the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard. 3) Direct the Wizard to the temporary directory. 2.2 Troubleshooting tips ________________________ None 3.0 Configuration information _____________________________ For detailed installation and setup instructions for your controller, refer to the IBM ServeRAID Installation Guide (INSTALL.PDF) in the /BOOKS directory of the "IBM ServeRAID Support" CD.
