First, before we went to individuals, well, after we went to individuals, we was goin' to team. We went to go get our water break. Came back. We was already down there waitin' on defense and the linemen. Coach got mad. Somebody carried an attitude 'cause the linemen is always late comin' down for team. So he told all of us get on the line and said we gonna run. Most of us wasn't runnin', so he said we gonna run 'til somebody quit. So we started like around 5:00. Ran for like an hour. Then ain't nobody quit still, so it was close to like almost 6:15. We gotta practice. He's sayin' "Nobody gonna leave 'til somebody quits." So he kept runnin' us. Okay. After somebody, like a group of us who he's runnin', we wasn't really runnin' for real, we was walkin' and laughin' and stuff, 'cause we wasn't about to run for no hour in the sun. And he made all of us do up-downs, and out of that group, he sayin' one of us gonna quit. Then somebody got mad, so they quit. Then he stopped practice. And a couple of us wanted to go get a drink of water, and we came back, and he started hollering' at us and asked us why we get a drink of water for and all this. Then it was after, then we just had a team talk. Okay. Uh, what was the team talk about? Anything specific? Uh, no. We need to hustle more, sell-out practice… Okay.

…and all that. Uh, when you, when you all get water breaks how are they given? Do you all take 'em as a team, or do you take water breaks individually? As a team. And when you all break off into your own groups, like the linemen and the defensive backs, or whatever… Individuals? Yeah. Are those individuals given water breaks, or do they still wait and come back as a team? No. Individual. Okay. And on that day, uh, how many water breaks do you remember taking yourself? Like three. Three. Did, were you able to go on your own and take some, or did you wait 'til the coach said, "Go get a drink." He asked us. "He's like, "Are y'all ready for water?" We'll say "Yes or no." He'll ask us. Now, is that your position coach, or is that the head coach? My position coach. Now, who was that?

Coach Deacon. Okay. Uh, after the last water break, what did y'all do for practice? What did y'all do? The last water break, we ran. You ran? Yeah. Okay. Is that normal? What? Just running at the end of practice? It wasn't at the end of practice, though. It wasn't at the end? No. It was like, it was probably like our third water break. 'Cause like after we get to the team, we'll go get another water break. Then we run. Okay. Uh, so why, what was, what was the reason y'all started running sprints? Because people was taking all day getting' ready for the offense and defense So people was just bein' lazy? Yeah. And how many sprints did your group run? It was a team. But as a team, I think we ran

Were you in the smaller guys, or the head.. Smaller guys. Okay. Uh, how did, how many sprints do you remember running before you were able to take off any football gear? Like 20. I mean, like 20. And after you start, were able to take your helmet and pads off, how many did you still run? Probably at least, uh, 25 or 30. And, how long you think this took for you all to run your sprints?
