As Spring Break comes to end, the entertainment continues at the Talento Bilingue de Houston! It's your last chance to catch Et Voila Theatre's production of "Ils S'aiment (They Love Each Other). The hilariously funny play by Muriel Robin and Pierre Palmade, is done in French with English surtitles, and the last 2 shows will be presented on Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th at 8:00 pm. In collaboration with the Houston Art Alliance, we are thrilled to host the first concert in the series of three, that showcases the vibrant and distinctive Latino music traditions that reside in Houston. The Uno, Dos, Tres!, concert series will premiere on Saturday, March 23rd, beginning with a workshop in the TBH Theatre at 5:00 pm, "The Polyrythyms of Cuban Son". The outdoor concert at Guadalupe Plaza will follow at 6:30 pm, featuring El Rectorado del Son and both events are absolutely FREE. Folks, it just doesn't get any better than that. So make plans to come out and enjoy! The Houston Grand Opera is proud to present the original Mariachi Opera, March 21st through 24th at the Wortham Theater Center. "Cruzar la Cara de la Luna/To Cross the Face of the Moon" is a beautiful story of three generations of one family divided by countries and cultures. If you experienced "Past the Checkpoints" you cannot miss the original Mariachi Opera that started it all. Go to the link in the ad below for times and ticket information.
