FEDERAL STUDENT AID CIO Technology Update
The Office of Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal Student Aid (FSA) is sponsoring a one-day ‘open source” technology conference in partnership with the Postsecondary Electronic Standards Council (PESC). The CIO’s conference will be held May 8, 2002 at the Arlington Hilton & Towers in Arlington, Virginia. The PESC Annual Conference will be held May 9 – 10, 2002 at the same location. Approximately 100 chief information officers from colleges and universities are invited. Others invited include: vice presidents of technology; technology directors; executives from guaranty agencies, lenders, and servicers, and other community technology executives.
