How to create the Test script and test Configuaration 1.

2 .Test Script name :

3. Create Button

4. Enter the Title and Component as FI-AP-AP-MD .

5. Click on the Pattern 6. Select the Group and Command as specified in the Screen

7. Enter the transaction name for the Script specified

Example ABAA and then press Enter on the field Transaction after entering the transaction code.

It will pull the interface name based on the transaction name. as below

Press OK 8. it will start the mentioned transaction and start the Recording for it. Input the test data mentioned in the Excel sheet for 1 record. Complete the transaction by adding all the test data mentioned in the Excel sheet.

9 Save the rtansaction 10 .After clicking the save Button it will prompt for below screen and press YES.

11. After Clicking yes, you will get the belo screen

12 Click on the You will get following screen.

13. Double click on the Comand interface and it wil show you following screen.

14. Open the Dynpro

15 Click on the first screen Fields

16 Changed the value of the Column VALIN with the same name as field name. (Only change for those fields which are mention in the test data Excel) In My caes I have filled following higheled values o the screen First.

Same thing you have to for all the screen where you entered data.

17 . After done , press doubleclick on the node. It will prompt you for following screen

18. Select the IMPORT adio button and press YES.

19 Chec the Syntax

And no error save the test Script in the Local Object. Close the transaction.

Reopen the transaction SECATT.

Mention the test Configuration name as I mentioned.

2) Click on create button 3) mentioned the Title and Componenet

4 Click on the Configuration TAB Mentione the test Script name same as you created before.

5 Click on the Download variants. Save the file on file on specified path. (C:\Documents and Settings\DTHORAT\SapWorkDir) (Make this File as Template and keep one copy of it with different name starting with TEMP_Actual file name on Desktop folder) 6. You will be prompt by following screen

7 open the File fro the location : C:\Documents and Settings\DTHORAT\SapWorkDir in the Microsoft Excel ) Fill the only one row at the row number 4 in the Excel.data as specified in the Following screen shots)

And save at same location. 8 click on the variant and select the radio button External variable / path Mentioned the file name that you saved with data 9. Save the objects

10 Execute the test configuration by click on the Execute button. It will again give one more screen. Select the dedubbing mode as STOP when an error.

11 Click on the UI control TAB.

And changed the Start mode for the Command TCD as

Click on the Execute again.

You might come across the following screen

Still press Execute button It will start the execution of the transaction with data specified in the File. Will get the following screen
