Over the past four years I have completed several placements in a variety of classrooms within the Des Moines School District. I have had the opportunity to tutor several English language learners by teaching language acquisition as well as helping the students adapt to American culture. I have recently completed my first student teaching placement in a ninth grade English classroom and will be starting my second placement in a Secondary Special Education classroom in Canada.
