LULAC: The Continuing Saga - 2nd in a Series Payments to Persons The Editor: The Editor has been informed

by a source who remains under protected guard that Manuel Escobar received $15,000.00 out of the proceeds of the sale of the Hacienda property. The Editor is asking Margaret Moran to inform the Editor at his email address: editor@voiceofthemainland.com whether this allegation is fact or fiction; if it were not from the proceeds, from other funds that are related with the sale of the property. The Editor has also been informed by a person who will remained anonymous and under person protection that a former high level officer of National LULAC from Corpus Christi received a sum of $150,000.00 from the proceeds of the sale of the Hacienda property. The Editor is asking Margaret Moran to inform the Editor at his email address: editor@voiceofthemainland.com whether this allegation is fact or fiction; ff it were not from the proceeds, from other funds that are related with the sale of the property. The story here is that this pay off was to silence opposition to the sale of the Hacienda property. The Editor knows the identity of the person receiving the payment. A Texas non-profit cannot give money from the sale of its property to a private person. Such a gift would be criminal.
