Dilectus Health Solutions (hereinafter „DHS‟) has been a major player in the healthcare industry for the last 15 years in the Republic of Jambudweep. Its products have managed to make a dent in the relevant industry because of their state-of-the-art technology, high durability and high product life-time. Besides the said attributes, DHS has also been very well known for creative development i.e. infusing creativity into otherwise conventional and mundane products. In January 2008, Dr. A.N.Pandey (Head – R&D, DHS) along with a team of fellow researchers at DHS came up with an innovative concept which related to an electronic communication system between a health care service provider and his/ her patient, capable of rapidly exchanging inquiries, responses, data, services and information between both parties, and thus, providing a simple, reliable and effective interface. Looking at the potential advantages of Dr.Pandey‟s brain child, an ad-hoc panel comprising of field experts, senior technicians and lawyers was immidiately constituted within DHS, to determine the relevant IP protection for the said invention. It was unanimously decided that IP protection by way of Patents would be best-suited in the instant case. Thereafter, a provisional application (Titiled “Medical Service Provider –
JAMBU/AMRA/0420apl) dated 11 August, 2008 was filed with the Jambudweep Patent Office headquartered at Amravati. Subsequently, on 14th February, 2009 the Complete Specifications were filed. The Patent for the impugned application was granted on 2nd March, 2010 (Patent No: JAMBU/ AMRA/0022grnt). About JAMBU/ AMRA/ 0022grnt The invention, primarily provided for a fully automated system for generating personlized area (patient pages) for each patient within the doctor‟s or health care group‟s web site. The said system incorporated a smart logic unit (hereinafter „SLU‟) which custom mapped information entered by the doctor/ health care provider such as common visit/ check-up routine information, diagnosis information, procedure information etc., in different systems, and thus, facilitated the delivery of consolidated content to the patient. In this manner the patient‟s page was created without extra work or effort by the doctor/ health care provider, through an automated process which used the data that had already been entered by the doctor/ health care provider in different systems such as the sheduling or billing systems. As a result, therefore, as soon as the patient logged onto his web page he could access a variety of Doctor/ Healh care provider information and could accordingly, be offered services such as an option

The important independent claim for the said patent indicated as follows – 1. . whereupon the communication is automatically stored on a central server. through a provider/ patient interface over an electronic communication network to a web site which is unique to the health care provider. A method of automatically and electronically communicating between at least one health care provider and a plurality of users serviced by the said health care provider. said web site supported by or in communication with the central server through a provider/ patient interface service center. enabling communication by transporting the communication initiated thereto. said method comprising the steps of: initiating a communication by one of the plurality of users to the health care provider for informatiion. wherein the said health care provider has established a pre-existing medical record for each user.
