CHRISTIAN LOVE Matthew 5:43-48 Christ's coming to earth to die was based upon the love of God for mankind. Christ's earthly ministry shows the place of love and when He completed the earthly assignment, He commanded His followers to love one another. But beside fellows of like precious faith, He also commanded that love should be shown to other people including even our enemies. The act of perfect love for God and mankind comes from the heart that has been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The state of the heart and mind that is not regenerated cannot bear to do this; instead, it is full of vengeance and wickedness. Therefore Christians indeed must be free from anger. 1. POSITIONAL PLACE OF CHRISTIAN LOVE AND ANGER 1 Corinthians 13:4-8; James 1:20; Ephesians 4:26 The Christian love can best be described by the life of Jesus Christ himself that while we yet sinners, He died for us. This describes in totality the attitude/relationship that God expects to exist between fellow mankind. When love comes into the activities of life, then peace, joy and comfort will the fruit. Christian love however is distinct from the love that men of the world experience. It is a tonic to daily bliss for individuals and the generality of mankind. Anger, however, destroys the fabric of mutual understanding, the experience disquiet the spirit, throw the heart into confusion and misleads the heart into judgmental and unreasonable decisions. Anger dishonours and makes services to the almighty God unacceptable. It lowers personality and leads to disgrace.

The benefits derived from deeper experience of love. profiting the soul (Psalm 29:7-11). what of power. are that "love covereth the multitude of sin". as the Bilble put it. unnecessary pains you caused others and the ones you passed through. .
