Long term commitment (1-3 years) Some members may not be able to participate May marginally decrease member “flexibility” Potential for some confusion between mission and Strategic Focus Will need strategic oversight with long view vision Other

 

Issue of major significance with implications for the entire community Ability of most TCC members to have an impact through existing programs Reasonable potential for success/impact Not easily addressed through other means (i.e. Federal/private sector, etc.) Supportable by the majority of members

  

Discussion
Does the concept make sense? Are there other benefits/liabilities? How can you imagine this impacting your organization at the program/implementation level? How much does it matter that a specific example may/may not fit for you? (I.e. If “education” were selected would that change your perception of the proposal?)
