1. From the Secretary to Government Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India D.O. No 5/17/2009-P&C, Dt.11-03-2010 on the Guidelines for Roof top PV and Small Solar Power Plants connected to distribution network (below 33 KV) under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) 2. From the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, NEDCAP Ltd., Hyderabad. Letter No.NEDCAP/SE/RPSSGP/2010 dated 06.03.2010 the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, NEDCAP Ltd., Hyderabad.

ORDER The Government of India has launched Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) for large scale promotion of solar power projects in the country. Under the solar mission, it is envisaged to encourage Roof top PV and Other Small power plants connected at distribution network at voltage levels below 33 KV. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, proposed to launch a programme to encourage these systems by extending generation based incentives. The programme is called as Rooftop PV and Small Solar Generation Programme (RPSSGP). 2. As per the guidelines, for implementation of the programme the State Government is required to designate a Competent Authority, empowered to issue certificate required for registering the projects with Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) and subsequently reporting progress on implementation of these projects. 3. The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, NEDCAP, has submitted proposals to the Government in the reference second read above, to designate Non-Conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. (NEDCAP), which is the State Nodal Agency for promotion of Renewable Energy Power Projects in the State, as Competent Authority to undertake activities related to promotion of Roof top and Small Solar Power Plants. Government after careful consideration of the matter, hereby orders that the Non-Conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd., should act as a Competent Authority to deal with all the activities related to promotion of Roof top and Small Solar Power Plants in the State of Andhra Pradesh. 5.
