SSMRV ROTARACT CLUB Report

The installation program for the new board members of the rotaract club for the year 2009-10 was held on 29th July 2009. The chief guest Mr. Ashoka Register RSST, formally installed Mr. Nawaz.S, student of III year BBM as the present of the club. The chief Guest for the program was Mr. Ashoka, Registrar RSST. All the dignitaries present were : Dist. Director Youth Service- Rtn.Mr.Harshvardhan The President, RCBC- Rtn.Mr.Shailendra Gupta The Director Youth Service- Rtn.Mr. Rajendra Rane The Principal,SSMRV Degree College- Dr. P.Yashoda Convener of SSMRV rotaract club- Ms. Sangita Das Convener of IQAC- Ms. Kalpana Activities of the club On 29th July 2009, the installation ceremony was held for the new office bearers which took place in the meditation hall. On 5th August 2009, the 1st board meeting was held at 12 noon to discuss about the 1st general meeting and discuss about the future projects. On 11th August 2009, the 1st general meeting was held at 3:45pm where Arvind sir briefed us about the activities for the month.

 On 15th August 2009, 6 members attended a medical camp which was held in Hunsenahalli which is 18kms from Kanakapura. It was a community service project. Where more than 700 people attended the program. On 18th August 2009, the 2nd board meeting was held at 3:00pm. Where we discussed to conduct a H1N1 awareness program in the Jayanagar 9th block slum. On 22nd August 2009, 20 members took part in the H1N1 awareness program in the Jayanagar 9th block slums. The program went on from 10:00am to 2:00pm. On 25th August 2009, the 3rd board meeting was held at 3:00pm where we discussed about the 2nd general meeting. We discussed about the program on the 13th of September 2009. On 1st Sept 2009, the 4th board meeting was held at 2pm where we discussed about the future projects. We discussed about the competitions to be held on 5th Sept 2009. On 5th Sept 2009, 10 members took part in the Rotafest which was held in CMR college. On 8th Sept 2009, the 5th board meeting was held at 3pm where we discussed about the 2nd general meeting and the program on the 17th of Sept 2009. On 9th Sept 2009, the 2nd general meeting was held at 3:30pm where the members were informed about the program held on 13th and 17th of Sept 2009. On 13th Sept 2009, 12 members attended the program which was held in NMKRV college where our Ex-President Mr. Shreesha Chandran was felicitated by the ICGS. On 16th Sept 2009, the 6th board meeting was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about the Mitra jyoti home and about conducting guest lectures in government schools. On 17th Sept 2009, 20 members attended the program which was held in the Rotary home of learning in frazer town. It was an entertainment program presented by our club to the sponsor club. On 19th Sept 2009, the 3rd general meeting was held at 1:00pm where the members were informed about the Mitra Jyoti program, planting the seeds and giving lectures in government schools. On 25th Sept 2009, 3 members visited the Mitra Jyoti Home for the blind in HSR Layout.

 On 06th October 2009, the 7th board meeting was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about the 4th general meeting and to conduct seminars in government schools. On 09th October 2009, 3 members visited the Mitra Jyoti Home for the blind in HSR Layout. On 10th October 2009, the 4th general meeting was held at 1:00pm where the members were informed about our future projects and selected the speakers for the seminar. On 11th October 2009, the President and the secretary of our club attended the 2nd district meeting held in rotary home in 4th block jayanagar where the future projects was informed to all the rotaract clubs in Bangalore. On 20th October 2009, the 8th board meeting was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about the schools chosen for the seminar and the day to conduct it. On 23rd October 2009, 3 members visited the Mitra Jyoti Home for the blind in HSR Layout. On 24th October 2009, 20 members visited a village 10kms from Kengeri, where a health camp was organized by the rotaract district 3190. On 28th October 2009, the 9th board meeting was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about our future projects. On 30th October 2009, 3 members visited the Mitra Jyoti Home for the blind in HSR Layout. On 23rd January 2010, the 10th board meeting of the year 20102011 was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about the Kanakapura project. On 29th January 2010, the 5th general meeting of the year 20102011 was held at 3:30pm where we informed the members about the Kanakapura project and other future projects. On 4th February 2010, 6 members attended the blood donation camp held in Mount Carmel College. On 30th January 2010, the 11th board meeting of the year 20102011 was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about the Kanakapura and navodaya project.

 On 23rd March 2010, the 12th board meeting of the year 20102011 was held at 2:30pm where we discussed about the Kanakapura project and the 6th board meeting. On 26th March 2010, the 6th general meeting of the year 20102011 was held at 3:30pm where we informed the members about the Kanakapura, navodaya and other future projects.
