FOCUSED SKILL: Reading EXPLICIT OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to; 1. read and match correctly 5 words with their correct meanings. 2. read and identify correctly at least four out of five true or false statements pertaining to the text.. 3. answer at least 4 MCQ comprehension questions pertaining to the text. 4. write a postcard message to a friend - Group A: will write the message in about 30 to 40 words - Group B: will write the message in about 30 words - Group C: will write the message in 2 – 3 sentences 1.
