Emilio Sevilla recently reported on the progress of the formation of the coalition of apostles in Spain saying, "I had yesterday a meeting with some of the main Apostles here in Spain." He continues describing the meeting: "After the meal, I presented CEA (Coalición Española de Apostoles) under the umbrella of ICA. After some questions and under the atmosphere of friendship and willingness to see the apostolic ministry exercise properly and at the same time producing the proper fruits, we felt that was the right time to go ahead with CEA!"

Ramon Gimenez Visits Several Nations on Behalf of ICA
COSTA RICA: Ramon Gimenez plans on visiting Costa Rica this spring to work with ICA Convening Apostle, Yamil Jimenez. Ramon explains, "I will try making the rounds there through my contacts in radio to begin the process and work with a couple of key contacts in San Jose and San Isidro where Yamil Jimenez resides." CUBA: Gimenez also said, "I am also headed to Cuba in the spring to speak in a major convention there. And I have already contacted an Apostle there to see about the possibility of meeting the front line Apostles of Cuba." Building on earlier work on the island, Ramon adds, "I also have an apostolic alignment in Cuba in the province of Oriente which is to the eastern seaboard of the island." He will be working in Cuba with Yamil Jimenez, the present Convening Apostle of Costa Rica. PANAMA: Building on the work other ICA members who have visited Panama, Gimenez speaks of his plans saying, "I have several contacts in Panama and I will be there in early March. I will let you know all that I will be able to do there for ICA." We're looking forward to his report. KENYA and VENEZUELA: Looking into the year, Gimenez says, "I will be in Kenya in August" and later he says "I will also be in Venezuela Lord willing in October." Gimenez is also making plans for his international conference in the United States. "In June, I am flying here to my
Just days after our ICA International Gathering in Dallas, Herb Hutchison wrote, "Thank you for the opportunity to serve ICA in this capacity. After working with the Navajo Tribe, Apache, and Warm Springs people for some seventeen years now, it will take an empowering of key leaders in these tribal areas to create a coalition that will affect the greater whole." Commenting on the condition of Native American tribes, Hutchison shares the following: "There are 601 tribes in North America, of which the majority is in third-world conditions. The United States has 500 of these tribes still living on reservations that were given to them. Many of the tribes are sovereignwith their own three-branch government. Since the 1800's, the history of these nations is replete with poverty, high unemployment, alcoholism, drug addiction and gang violence. The amount of churches and ministries that have filtered into these nations is astounding. However, the crushing blow of darkness still prevails, leaving uncertainty and lack of hope". God has been using Herb to lay foundation for his work among the Native Americans for many years. "I have already started the process through the apostolic network I initiated many years ago," says Hutchison. "I will keep you informed of my progress with the Native American Coalition of Apostles (NACA)." We look forward to hearing more!
convention in Clinton, Iowa with all my international native Apostles and leaders. I am paying for all their expenses to come. We will instruct them at this time what ICA's vision is all about and how we can affect our nations even more by connecting fully through ICA." Is the Local Church Becoming Obsolete?
strong anchor in a local church even before they came into the kingdom message. This independent spirit and impatience for change will influence their kingdom theology to the point of finding proof texts or doctrines that justify the bypassing of local churches. It is my position that jettisoning the local church, or relegating it merely to the purpose of shepherding our families, would be a huge mistake! Whether we like it or not, God has chosen the local church to be the beachhead that facilitates social and religious change in the nations. We need to reform the church not jettison it! We need to help transition the local church to becoming kingdom-centered; being kingdom-centered and local church-centered need not be mutually exclusive. To be truly kingdom-centered one must start with being local church-centered. In addition, each local church needs to view itself as one congregation among many in a particular region that, combined, comprise the city church. (The New Testament epistles such as Philippians, Romans, Colossians, etc. all assume one church per city or region.) Hence, this view necessitates cooperation and collaboration with other congregations as a biblical responsibility. Likewise, pastors are never solely called to shepherd only their individual flocks but are to be shepherds or chaplains to whole communities. Let us now go back and attempt to understand the local church paradigm and pattern. First, when God desired to reconcile world systems and redeem individual sinners He sent His Son—who didn’t come as a political or business leader couched as a religious rabbi. Jesus began as an itinerant teacher of the Word of God (Luke 4:18). Those with him in synagogue were His platform for inauguration as the King of Kings as Lord of Lords (John 18:37). Can you imagine a time when key apostolic leaders— both in the church and marketplace—would come together to exert strong influence over cities, communities and nations, with or without the cooperation or partnership of local church pastors and congregations? A time when the local church would almost be irrelevant when it comes to societal transformation because leaders would form their own ecclesia that would be mobile and not nuclear in nature? A time in which the local church would be relegated merely to shepherding our families, pastoral counseling, and Sunday school for our children? There is a growing tendency in the Body of Christ among practitioners in kingdom societal transformation to bypass the local church in order for the reformation of society to take place. This is due to the frustration of many marketplace leaders with the slow pace, bureaucracy, myopic local view, and lack of high-level leadership found in many of this nation’s congregations. As more of us receive greater light regarding the kingdom, and we rightly go from a church mindset to a kingdom mindset, I am afraid some will have a tendency to go too far and jettison the local church altogether! Further exacerbating this challenge is that many who are on the leading edge of cultural change are institutional (para-church) or marketplace leaders who by nature are entrepreneurial, independent, highperformance leaders who have not always had a ICA PO Box 164217 Ft. Caribbean, Jean-Marc Potenti says, "We are both involved with other ministers in gathering French speaking apostolic networks and we have found so many encouragements in ICA vision, values and connections." Commenting on his ministry in France, Potenti says, "I have been working for years in France trying to strengthen ministers, especially apostolic ministries. In the past years, I have lead many meetings and processes to helping denominations and networks to recognize the apostolic ministries in their midst." Then he admits, "But I have stopped for a while, looking for a greater revelation and strategy from the Lord." But after attending ICA's International Gathering this year, things changed. Commenting on the conference Jean-Marc says, "When I discovered ICA's vision, I felt so impressed by the similarities and connections. The process, the definitions, strategies you have already set up will help us in a significant way." After accepting ICA's invitation to convene apostles in France, Potenti concludes, "So, I feel honored and blessed by your invitation to become a Convening Apostle for our nation. Thank you for inviting and welcoming me. I am ready to accept it, praying the Lord to help me accomplishing this mission."
