York College of Pennsylvania’s Greek Week strives to unite the Fraternities, Sororities, and the York College Community in hopes to foster a unique friendship that promotes brotherhood/sisterhood through partnership in a sportsman-like atmosphere that further encourages leadership and service to the community, while continuing the tradition of being active in campus involvement and throughout the community.

Below you will find the schedule and rules for each event for Greek Week 2013. Please be sure to read this entire document, as you and your organization are responsible for knowing the rules of the game and expected to follow them accordingly. If you have any questions, please seek out either Bryann or David prior to the event for clarification. Let the games begin!

Equipment for Events:
Your organization can pick up the equipment for the event you’re setting up/tearing down for in the Office of Student Activities and Orientation. *The Grumbacher will supply volleyballs and dodge balls.

PRE-GREEK WEEK: GREEK THEMED DINNER Conclude Greek Appreciation Week and commence Greek Week with a Greek themed dinner at Johnson Dining Hall beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 21st. Togas are optional. Meal plan is required, so share swipes.

*Refreshments will be served after the event in the CPAC Lobby.
Three members from each organization will participate in an oral competition, with elimination on a “miss-and-out” basis in the traditional Spelling Bee manner. Emceed and proctored by Yoleidy Rosario, Assistant Director of Intercultural Student Life and Global Programming.
