QUOTE OF THE WEEK

winner will get $599 we have over $900 sold already. We have a nice electric winch that will be raffled at Easter. A very nice quilt was donated and will be raffled this summer. We have purchased a Garmin Etrex H GPS that will be raffled Memorial Day. We are going to have a personal Ice maker to raffle on Labor Day. We have selected Trail # 117 to be raffled this year. All raffle tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. We have 23 trails left to be named. Once we have them all named we will be making a new map and copies will be available for purchase. Fogey Helicopter Landing Pad Update The power lines in Fogey have been buried and we are working on getting the concrete pad poured. We can still use donations to cover all the small items for this project. This landing pad will help speed emergency in that area of the Ranch. Hopefully it will never be used but if needed it will be there. If you are interested in purchasing any raffle tickets you can contact the Club at ranchriders@cebridge.net or go to www.ranchriders.org you can see pictures of our projects and items for sale on the web site. The ice storm has caused lots of trees and limbs to fall on the trails. It will take lots of work to get them all cleaned up, so remember everyone is a member of the Ranch Riders Club and if you pick up one limb or one piece of trash from a trail you have made a difference. Thank you for everyone’s support Ranch Riders Club Dear Dale, We appreciated so much your guided tour of Cloud 9 Ranch last week. Beauty of the Ranch sales itself but it was certainly enhanced by our very knowledgeable tour guide! Your genuine love of the place shines through, and we felt your contentment in being there. It really is gorgeous, and we thank you for sharing your time with us. In Christ’s love, Hall & Linda Peterson Volunteer Cleanup As the “unofficial” organizer of the Forum Volunteer Cleanup Crew, I would like to express my thanks to all who braved the weather on Saturday, February 28th and unselfishly worked in the snow to help clear Melody Lane, Trailer Row, Spring Road and various trails of ice storm debris.

This group didn’t need a leader just an organizer. The 22 owners and a guest worked through sometimes heavy snow clearing and hauling limbs, cutting and stacking firewood for 6 hours. Bonnie Coates helped feed this group by cooking ham and beans with cornbread, and taking charge of the kitchen with the help of Shirley and Pammy from the maid crew. The Coffee Club provided us with steaming hot coffee, and a special thank you to Bill and Zelda Huster for this special treat. A list of those who showed up, against all odds while the snow was falling, to help is as follows: Larry & Deanna Armstrong, Mel & Cherie Hedrick, Adam Vandyke, Frank Gauthier, Rick Carter, James & Stephanie Phillips, Tracy Phillips (Guest), Cody Phillips, Bill & Dot Phillips, Wendell & Kadye Ward, Wilbur & Wilma Payne, Chris Payne, Curtis Payne, Carmen Huffmaster, Eric Jones, and Cliff Webb. Another volunteer work day will be scheduled very soon. For more information on the next volunteer workday, visit the Forum at the Big Top Discussion section for more information. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to All, Kadye Ward Coffee Club would like to remind everyone to please pay your $0.75 for your cup of coffee!!
