6 SAVING MONEY

definitions
Energy Factor (EF): The measure of a water heaters efficiency. EF is based on recovery efficiency, standby losses and cycling losses. A higher EF indicates a more efficient water heater. Modified Energy Factor (MEF): Measures energy consumption of the total laundry cycle (washing and drying). It indicates how many cubic feet of laundry can be washed and dried with one kWh of electricity. The higher the number, the greater the efficiency. Water Factor (WF): Represents the number of gallons of water needed per cycle for each cubic foot of laundry. The lower number indicates lower consumption and more efficient use of water.
