Impact Of CEO's Statement over Employees Performance:
In a message to Ufone employees on Eid, as communicated to us by sources placed with-in the company.CEO briefed employees about the appreciation it received from the Chairman of Board of Directors on performance of company, and announced that the Board of Directors approved performance based bonuses for all eligible permanent and contractual employees of Ufone. CEO mentioned that Ufone is doing best in terms of MNP, while company has strengthens the sales network through sales force automation, U shops and retailer outreach programs. The statement which Ufone CEO passed for appreciating employees work and for letting the world know about how Ufone is growing and what is the background behind coming up with distinct ideas has stated that basic reason of appreciating their employees performance i.e if they need to make Ufone a standout company they need to work on following aspects:
They need to enhance employees skills Their way of work The way employees perceive their work.
This is how Ufone has identified the internal basic needed characteristics that can lead the company to the top of the list of known ones. The upper level management have not just made a good impact on employees but they have also made a simple way of how they must retain their employees along with customers because positive attitude will surely leads towards a successful way and this would be preferable for grabbing more business.
Ufone Management has raised salaries of all Ufone employees by minimum of 15 percent across the board and 25 percent for those with outstanding performance during past year, told us sources in the company. ‘Ufone Management has been happy with the overall performance of the workforce and has decided to increase salaries by 15 percent at least”, said a top official while announcing the increment. Its good on Ufone’s part that it hiked salaries in tight economic situation. Yet this is another example set by the management that if they are observing that there is a increase in their efficiency then the employees must get some benefits in against after all if the company is earning then why shouldn't they give a prioritize percent to its employees. Recently Ufone has celebrated its 11th anniversary with great fervor and spirit, with the commitment to remain the best cellular company in Pakistan. The company has previously conducted some training sessions for its employees so that they can know about some more important aspects of how they must act to make the environment familiar and friendly and how they must give their best at work. Ufone employees have been trained to act responsibly and to make the world a better place by incorporating environment friendly behavior in their lifestyles, and working towards its improvement and sustainability. The aim was to make the participants understand that firstly they were to create awareness amongst themselves and then teach their friends and families on how to be environmentally responsible and sustainable. After the completion of the training session, Akbar Khan, Chief Marketing Officer at Ufone said that sustainability enables us to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We measure our actions through the well-being of interacting economic, environmental and social systems. We want our employees to know that the choices they make have a lasting impact on our world. Understanding that the environmental and economic well-being of our planet is tied together with the choices the society makes every day is the first step to making the right decision to move forward.
