2013 Theme
The Church, if it has discerned what God is doing, would readily agree that it is no longer business as usual; God is doing a new thing. Therefore, theres no room or tolerance for being content with the status quo. God is anxiously waiting for His people to embrace Next Level Ministry by embracing the total truth of His Word through pure obedience.

Congratulations to Masters Sheldon and Shaden Thomas for being featured on the April 2013 cover of Potpourri Magazine. Potpourri is a children's health and nutrition magazine written and designed for Early Childhood Educators and Home Child Care Providers by the Association for Child Development. Anyone with a young child in his or her life will enjoy the information, activities, and recipes. Sheldon (Age 6) and Shaden (Age 4) are the sons of Elder Sheldon and Sister Shayla Thomas. They are faithful Sunday School attendees, Kids Praisin Jesus Childrens Choir members, and serve on the Youth Usher Team. Sheldon and Shaden are not only brothers, but also best friends. Sheldon loves sports and has a passion for math and reading. Shaden enjoys riding his bike and has a passion for electronics. Do you have or a Burning to share? April 18 - 19 7:00 pm C.H. Mason District Conference services will take place at Lansing COGIC. Thursday, April 18 is our own District Missionary Benita Duncans night. Friday, April 19 the guest speaker is Elder Ricky Bradley, Pastor of New Hope COGIC, Battle Creek. Please support the conference. Scholastic Motivation will take place at Lansing COGIC. Workers still needed! Please see Sis. Liz Miller if you are interested in volunteering. The Women's Department is reinstating the 'Sisters of Love Ministry' for ages 18 - 30. Elect Lady is requesting that the young women in this age group call the church (517) 882-2335 and leave your name, telephone number and email address. This is a luncheon meeting taking place in the fellowship hall. Please plan to attend! Additional information and ministry details will be given during the meeting.

You Dont Know My Calling all ladies. Do you have a burning testimony that you would like to share. The Lansing COGIC Womens department will be putting Story on a production called You Dont Know My Story which will be based on our testimonies. Please pick-up and fill out the form titled You Dont Know my Story from the church news table and place it in the sealed box. Please contact Sis. Askew, Sis. Angell, Sis. Garner, Sis. Cooper or Sis.
