The plan of God is for every believer to know that they are wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14) with gifts that are purposed to glorify Him. These natural and supernatural gifts are a part of our God-given personality and motivates our behavior and our actions. Every believer must learn how to operate within their gift in the way that God purposed it and in harmony with the Body of Christ. This is accomplished through personal and spiritual development. Combining Personalities with Spiritual Gifts

Where ones Spiritual Gifts can be used most effectively! Profiles provide insight into how an individual can utilize their spiritual gifts.

Abilities: Communicate, inspire, influence, make friends, optimism, enthusiasm Opportunities: Give public testimony, drama, social committee, greeter, encourager, lead discussion groups, and visitation Warning: You naturally outshine others. Dont serve purely through your personality. Also, pride and sinful lusts will destroy your testimony. Reward: God designed you to shine for Him. When you allow Him to shine through you, He will use you in greater ways than you ever imagined. Prayer: Dear God, keep me humble to do your will, not mine. Give God your giftedness to use for His glory. Gain understanding of how to interpret your personality type and spiritual giftedness. Look for opportunities for ministry to use your giftedness

Getting In Where You Fit In

Many members become excited about getting involved in ministry. Sometimes the ministry workers struggle because they are performing in a role where they are not suited. Their desire is to work in the ministry to be of assistance however they may not be in a position that fits their gift. This can create internal and external conflict for the individual and the ministry. Finding the right position based on personality type and spiritual gift is essential to effective church ministry in addition to personal and spiritual growth.

Needs to: Serve by example, build relationships, relax, think before reacting, control self, be: patient, loving, kind, considerate, tolerant.
