The COM1 Port is for the interface cable The Power Port is where your power supply will connect Familiarize yourself with the Synapse Adapter and Synapse Smart Cable:
3. Connect the other end of the Synapse cable to the Synapse Interface adapter. 4. The Synapse cable has a flying power lead. Connect this lead to the receptacle in the Synapse Interface adapter.
7. Connect the appropriate line cord to the power supply and into an AC receptacle. 8. The indicator light on the cradle blinks, signifying successful power-up.
9. Charge the unit for a minimum of 3.5 hours. 6-8 Hours is recommended. 10. * THIS STEP IS FOR A P370/470 ONLY FOR P360/460 SKIP TO NEXT STEP * a. Take the P370/470 and scan the Pair barcode located on the cradle. When you scan this Pair barcode, the LED indicator on the cradle should flash once and the P370/470 should emit a warble sound and display SKU (w/ default app) 11. Scan the appropriate Synapse bar codes to set up the Synapse cable for your specifications. Scan both barcodes below that are also found in the STI85-0200 manual.
3. Plug the communication cable back into the base station. 4. Plug the power cable back into the base station. When connecting the black power cable, the LED indicator on the cradle should flash once then shut off. 5. Scan the reset to defaults from the P370 product manual

When you scan this Pair barcode, the LED indicator on the cradle should flash once and the P370/470 should emit a warble sound and display SKU (w/ default app) 7.
