Co-Founder and Director of Operations February 2008 January 2013 Summary: Founded a social enterprise producing a new line of bottled iced tea called Tvolution. $.25 from each bottle of tea is donated to high-impact charities. Revenues grew more than 300% year over year. Created Purpose Beverages from original concept to revenue, including development of the Tvolution brand and all marketing platforms, all legal and organizational structures, and the operations to produce, distribute, and sell. Developed and managed all East Coast operations. Grew from zero points of sale in February 2011 to more than 100 in 18 months, including all Whole Foods Markets in the DC Metro area. Developed and managed relationships with area distributors and retail accounts from local stores to large retail chains. Grew consumer awareness and achieved 90% repeat purchase rate. Created unique Tvolution web, mobile, and social media sharing platform utilizing text messaging, Facebook, and Twitter to drive brand awareness for Tvolution and our strategic partners. Managing Consultant; Energy and Public Sector Practices July 2007 January 2011 Summary: Led teams in the delivery of high-impact strategy projects to publicly traded commercial clients and the US Air Force by analyzing business issues, building and fostering relationships, and serving as strategic advisor. Managed an 18-month marketing and communications engagement for the US Air Force, managing six consultants from two companies and multiple vendors resulting in a promotion to Managing Consultant. Led 4-person consulting team in the design of end-to-end advanced meter deployment processes for a large utility client serving 3.5M customers.
