 Today, Pastor Mark Kelderman will conduct our worship services.  Next Sunday, Dr. David Murray will preach for us, Lord willing.  The Sunday School & Catechism classes’ (beginners – 7th grade) Psalter
of the month is #312:1,3,& 6. Next week Sunday morning is the last Sunday School/Catechism class of the season.

Rittner and Dwight Prince have accepted the call for the office of elder as well as Roger Osmun and David Pronk have accepted the call for the office of deacon. If there are no lawful objections, these brothers will be installed to their respective offices in June the Lord willing.

Snack: Jacqueline Scripture: Colossians 2 Text: Colossians 2:13-15 & Lord’s Day 15 May 15 – (Wednesday) 6:30 PM Boys & Girls Club Finale. Remember, ladies/girls are encouraged to wear an apron, and men/boys are outdoors, so bring jackets and ball gloves. We look forward to seeing you there! Contact Jen Pennings with questions. May 17 – (Friday) 7:30 PM You are invited to a Brass and Voices concert in our sanctuary. A brass band, brass quintet, and vocal ensemble will perform a variety of hymns and sacred songs. A collection will be taken for the Trinitarian Bible Society's Spanish Reina Valera Bible revision project. May 18 – (Saturday) 7 AM Men’s Breakfast Bible Study at Russ’ in Grandville. Note location change. This is our last meeting of the season. May 21 – (Tuesday) 7:30 PM Elders meeting.

Church Family
We do give thanks unto the Lord for having heard and answered all of our prayers for Bob’s healing. Many thanks, to our church family for all the cards, visits and prayers over the past months. Special thanks to Pastor Lawrence Bilkes for his visits and prayers. Psalm 66:20 “Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. “ Bob & Bertie Timmer Please Remember in Our Prayers: Mrs. Elsie Arnoudse, Mr. Bob Timmer, Mr. Trent Timmer, Mr. Howard Vanden Toorn, Mrs. Gertrude VanderGraaf, Mr. Rick Vander Veen, Mrs. Mina Van't Hof. Rick Vander Veen is scheduled for surgery this coming Monday, May 13, at Spectrum Butterworth to repair two discs in his back that have slipped and are pressing on two key nerves. We give thanks with Ruth and Steve Wiley for the encouraging news they received this past week. At this time the Dr. feels that the cancer is confined to her neck and spine. Ruth will continue with further testing and has started medication at this time. Thanks be to God. “O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever.” Psalm 107:1 Dick Spaans, Jr. has been in Meijer Heart center this week receiving treatment for blood clots in his leg/foot. Other News
Monarch FRC is planning their Berechiah Junior Youth Camp for August 1-3, 2013. This camp is for youth ages 12-16 and will be held at the same location as last year (Gladstone Mountain near Bearvermines, Alberta). The speakers this year are Student Ian Macleod and Pastor Scott Dibbet. The bulletin board in the narthex has more details for those interested in attending. The Annual Dutch Day will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 DV in the Providence Free Reformed Church in St. George. As Rev. B. Elshout is unable to attend due to his wife's funeral, Rev. A. DeGroot from the Springford Reformed Church has been invited to speak. He will speak about the church father Augustine. Coffee will be at 9:45 AM and the morning session will begin at 10:30 AM. Everyone who understands the Dutch language is welcome.
