It takes a visionary with burning passion focused on "one thing" imparting that vision and passion to an anointed leadership "dream team" that is able to carry it out in the spiritual and in the natural. I have watched Evangelist Reinhardt Bonnke's ministry for over 30 years now. In 1986 I attended his hallmark "Fire Conference" in Harare, Zimbabwe where he brought evangelists together from every African nation for an almost 2 week conference in the newly built Sheraton Conference Centre with miracle services every night in the 37,000 seat tent pitched nearby. I became close to some of his team at that time and heard about how after God would speak to him about an evangelistic crusade in some city, he would assemble his key intercessors and administrators to share the vision. The intercessors would prepare the way in the spirit and mobilize an intercessory prayer army in that nation to pull down strongholds. The administrators would prepare the way in the natural and go to that nation for securing the government permits, the venue, the media advertising, mobilizing the support of the local churches, raising financial support, etc. etc. And then a few months later a powerful successful crusade would sweep thousands into the Kingdom of God. Without this leadership team, Bonnke may have remained a German Pentecostal missionary in Lesotho, southern Africa, thinking 50-100 was a big crowd, and never had the impact he has today around the world. He also had a very sharp admin person in Laguna Hills, California that I knew who really helped cause his name to become known in the States, from where a lot of his financial support for the crusades eventually came. Having a successful different gift-mix international leadership team that were shareholders in the
vision was a tremendous key to the powerful exponential growth of the ministry. Without them, Bonnke's influence would not be where it is today. I want to encourage ministry leaders to put supreme value on your prophetic intercessors as well as your administrators. One prepares the way in the heavenlies, while the other prepares the way on earth. Both are crucial to the success of the ministry and vision.
