Adventurer Fun Day

On Sunday, March 8th, our Adventurer Club had the opportunity to go to

Camp Down at Windermere, FL for their Adventurer Fun Day.

This years theme was Creation, and our Adventures had the chance to
learn about different insects and nature while they visited other Adven-
turer Club booths.

Our Club had their own booth and their theme was Ants. One of our
own Adventurers (Justin Rivera ) created this honor four years ago.
“If the world hates you, you
know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the
world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are
not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore
the world hates you...If they persecuted Me, they will perse-
cute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake,
because they do not know Him who sent Me.” John 13:19-

Isn’t it true that in today’s world at the slightest offense we

are ready to retaliate, defend ourselves,...yes, fight back?
But at the greatest moment of His agony, Jesus sincerely
prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they
do.” (Luke 23:34)

“Forgive them…” What an amazing prayer!! How would

we react? What would be say?

What if someone pressed a crown of sharp thorns on your

head? Or stripped you naked for all the world to see? Or
brutally punched you in the face? Or drove spikes into your
wrist and ankles? Or lifted you up on the cross to hang and
die? What kind of prayer would you pray? Or would you
even think of praying at all?

May the Lord, who suffered for each one of us, help us when
we’re tempted to retaliate!

Yours for allowing the “mind of Christ” be in us, Pastor and

Sharon Webb.

Thank you very much New

Port Richey Church for
Sponsoring Outdoor Educa-
tion. All the kids in Mr. Cruz’s class had a lot of fun. We
built bird houses, rode horses and go-carts. We also did
archery, low elements, and canoeing. Plus we learned
about force, Western Indians, bugs and beetles, and
how to make fire. Thank you for all of your support.

Graduation Trip
The 8th Grade Class had their 8th
Grade Field Trip to St. Augustine.
They saw the Fountain of Youth,
The Old Jail, Ripley’s Believe it or
Not, and the Ghost Tour.
We all had a lot of fun. The 8th Graders would like to
thank the Church for their support.

Mexico Mission—Once again we have youth and adults who have indicated
they want to go to Mexico to put a floor and a roof on a new church in a very
poor area. Prayerfully consider how you might help those who want to go and
work but cannot financially afford all the expenses. NPR SDA church mem-
bers and friends have been very generous in the past to help youth and others.

1. Does the Bible mention the “second death?” Revelation 20:6

 Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death.”

2. What are the differences between the first death and the “second death?”

 We are all subject to the first death. Only the wicked are subject to the
“second death.”
 The first death is a temporary death (sleep) caused by sin. The “second
death” is a permanent death caused by sin.

3. All who die in the first death will be resurrected. The saved in the resur-
rection of life. The wicked to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:28 &

 God warned Adam that if he ate of the “tree of the knowledge of good and
evil” Adam would “surely die.” Genesis 2:16 & 17
 Adam would die both the first death and the “second death.”
 Jesus said the devil is a liar from the beginning. John 8:44
 Satan’s first lie on earth was to Eve. He told her “You will not surely die.”
Genesis 3:1-5

4. Why didn’t Adam and Eve die immediately? Revelation 13:8 , “the
Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Two methods of execution in
Israel: Stoning or crucifixion.
Stoning—Leviticus 24:16. Hope while dying.

 Crucifixion—Deuteronomy 21:22 & 23. No hope—accursed of God.

Second death. No resurrection.
Christ died the “second death” in our place. Isaiah 53:4

Because of Jesus dying the “second death” for us we are now His children,
we are His sons and daughters. I John 3:1

God’s Creation and Satan’s Creation…

 God created broccoli, cauliflower and spinach, green and yellow

and red vegetables of all kinds so Man and Woman would live long
and healthy lives. He said: “Try my green salad!”.
 And Satan presented Thousand-Island Dressing, buttery crou-
tons and garlic toast on the side. And Man and Woman unfastened
their belts following the repast.

 God then said, “I have sent you heart healthy vegetables and olive
oil in which to cook them.”
 And Satan brought forth deep fried fish and chicken-fried
steak so big it needed its own platter. And Man gained more weight
and his cholesterol went through the roof.

 God then created a light, fluffy white cake, named it “Angel Food
 Satan then created chocolate cake and named it “Devil’s

 God then brought fourth running shoes so that His children might
lose those extra pounds.
 And Satan gave cable TV with a remote control. Man and
Woman laughed and cried before the flickering blue light and gained

 God then gave lean beef so that Man might consume fewer calo-
ries and still satisfy his appetite.
 Then Satan created McDonald’s and its 99-cent double
cheeseburger. Then said, “You want fries with that?” And Man re-
plied, “Yes! And super size them!” And Satan said, “It is good.” And
Man went into cardiac arrest.

 God sighed and created quadruple bypass surgery.

 Then Satan created HMOs.

An Extra Pair of Hands
By Alex Ortiz

Big projects are always done quickly and

better if we have an extra pair of hands to
help us. Just imagine if you have to put
together a puzzle of 1000 pieces, of course
it would be nice to have a few extra hands
helping you.

Our hands are very sophisticated tools that can be used to do great
things. A lot of hands were used as tool to put together the greatest
book of all times, The Bible. God used all those hands to help us
know Him better. Also, the same God that gave us our hands is al-
ways extending His to help us in our lives.

God commended us with a great project: to tell every human being in

this world about His son and His love. God is asking us for our
hands. His son already extended them for us, are you willing to ex-
tend yours for Him?

Our Choir @ Town &

Country SDA Church
On Sabbath, March 7th, our NPR Sanc-
tuary Choir had the opportunity to visit
and participate in the grand opening of
the Town and Country SDA new temple.

To the glory of God we sang two songs. It was a beautiful ceremony

and we felt honored to be invited.

Please keep this sister church and our Choir in your prayers.

Evangelist Series
Unlocking Revelation Prophecy Expo
During the last few weeks our Church has been experiencing a
great event, the Prophecy Expo with Pastor Lester Pratt.

Every night a great number of visitors attended. If you don’t

have the opportunity to be there, now you can hear it at our
Church website.

Share this good news with your love d ones!

During 10 weeks our
church has been pre-
senting this powerful,
soul-winning, Bible
study for kids.

The kids enjoyed the

studies very much and
the little gifts after each study.

On Sabbath, March 21, there was a graduation and the chil-

dren were presented with a certificate of participation, their
own Bible, and an Amazing Adventure CD Series.

Thanks to Juanita Grimes, Juan Rivera and all the parents

that participated.

We need to mention that because of this series some kids

want to be baptized. Praise God!

Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody

This is a little story about four people: Everybody, Somebody,
Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done, and Everybody was

sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it,
but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s

job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody
realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody

did what Anybody could have done.
