Discover E Program A Big Hit At STV!
Every year, STV participates in the Discover Engineering program. This year, former STV parent Jim Jensen came from Northrop Grumman Corp. to spend an afternoon with our 7th and 8th Grade students. Mr. Jensen talked about the varied field of engineering, shared his job experience in the field of engineering and civil defense, and then orchestrated an engineering activity for the group. As a bonus, students were able to submit essays on what they learned from the presentation to ‘win’ a day at Northrop Grumman. Three STV students, Sam Buchholz (Grade 8), Kayla Howell (Grade 8), and Eddie Padden (Grade 7) will tour Northrop Grumman Corp and see engineering first-hand. Thanks, Mr. Jensen!
