Spritob tool allows to extract each sprite frame from your favourite computer games quickly. This is more useful that graphics editing program because it works with image sequence.

Overview/Features
Spritob is a free image sequence manipulation application designed to be used on computers that run Windows.This is very useful for extracting and cleaning each frame from sprites sheet from your computer games video. Finally, you can build with the final image sequence the original sprite sheet. Some key features of Spritob are: Image sequence manipulation The difference between graphics editing program and this is Spritob works with image sequence so all Spritob tools affect all images, this is the most important and helpful characteristic that helping to clean your sprite frames fast. For example, you can remove every red pixel of all images with only select the red color

and cliking 'color remove' button. Installing Spritob
Spritob is designed to be very easy to intall. Once you have downloaded from Spritob website, open the compressed folder by double-cliking the icon. The contents of compressed folder are: Spritob - Sprite Extractor Utility.exe: Spritob software. Spritob Help.chm: Spritob chm format help. Spritob Help.pdf: Spritob pdf format help. Which is the maximum picture size can I load? Although you don't have limit, the process get slowly if the images are bigger Which is the maximum picture count can I load? Although you don't have limit, it is better to use the minimum images because it is better to clean frames Zoom tool doesn't work Zoom out and Zoom in both have limit, you can't reduce the image sequence less than original size. Removing Background Tool

Removing the color selection pixel in all open images. In the first moment select the color either writing 'R' (red), 'G' (green) and 'B' ( blue) or selecting the color with colorpicker or click in the color box and after press 'Color Remove' button.

Extract

This tool allows to extract sections of all images between the select colors, If we click '2 Color Delimit' check box, use two colors for delimit the section.

It isn't perfect this tool, so sometimes it's necessary modify it manual with photo editor.

It works out to research for all color blocks select for each rows and only draw the pixels between pair of

blocks. The next example red is the select color

and the resul is: if 'inv.' check box is select the result is: The white pixels don't draw in the new image An other example

Selection Tool

This tool allows selecting area in your image sequence and removing the select area. Have to press the 'select button' (the icon on the right) for starting the select and subtract either selection, the default setting, or inverse selection with 'Apply' button. Moreover you can change the color selection with the color box, deselect with 'Deselect'. And also modifying the area with the arrows, '+' and '-' buttons.

This example is demonstrated how you can get all frame from animation from a image sequence with solid background. Some emulation supports to enable and disable the background or the different graphic layers the system has like Visual Boy Advance. And also Visual Boy Advance is going to be used to record a movie with the character animation and Quick Time is going to be used to extract all image sequence from character animation's movie. At first, Open Visual Boy Advance, loading the room and removing the background

er Now the character video is going to be recorded in Tools > Record > Start AVI recording item. When the animation just finish press Tools > Record > Stop AVI recording item

Open the video with Quick time and select the section of video with the animation to extract and export to file image sequence

Open Spritob and open all image sequence. Mix Sequence > Load Imagen Sequence item and select one of all image sequence

Now Select the area with your character, depend on the background color maybe you can change the selection color or zoom the imagen (the icon on )

Checking the selection with 'Animation box' and adjust selection with all of arrows and finally selection 'Inv. Selection' and apply button.

This example show how you can extract a character from image sequence. However this image sequence doesn't have solid background, the extraction is not usually perfect so you should use some image editor. For the best results with your image sequence, make the next steps: Extract the image sequence and open with Spritob software Click '2 color delimit' and to select colors of edge character with both pickcolors

And now repeat the color extract again but click 'Inv.' check box and the final image sequence is like this

We are going to join both image sequences in this step, change to 'mix sequence' tab page and loading both image sequences and click 'Mix' button

Now change to 'Modify sequence' and using this tools for removing the dust in the image sequence and removing duplicate. And don't forget to save the new final sequence
