IA Submission to University -Process Manual New Process (Step 1): A major paradigm shift adopted from April-May term-end

exams of the University. EduNxt portal will continue to remain the base enabler for the students to get their assignment questions, however, now, it will also additionally enable them to submit their answers for assignment question. For that, first and foremost, students need to sign in EduNxt portal using their username and secret password. Refer the following screen of EduNxt portal:

New Process (Step 2): The following page would become visible upon successful signing in to the EduNxt portal. Students are required to click Upload IA button to proceed further and to view instructions and list of Subjects for uploading the answers of assignments.

New Process (Step 3): This page captures the salient instructions and also displays the subjects in the table for which the corresponding student need to pass the continuous evaluation component.

The student can access the questions of assignments for a particular subject by clicking on the link under the column Question Paper against that particular subject in the row. The salient instructions for preparing the answer of these questions of assignments are as follows: INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION (Applicable to those which are available in EduNxt) 1. Ensure that you answer all questions according to the marks allocated (not more than 400 words for a 10-mark question and not more than 200 words for a five-mark question). The total page limit shall not exceed 8 pages of A-4 size. Students are advised to check their Assignments thoroughly before uploading the same, as Only ONE submission will be considered and evaluated. Multiple submissions are not allowed. 2. Please restrict the assignment document size to <500 KB. 3. Please avoid inserting images of very high resolution into the document to prevent exceeding the size limit. 4. Assignment submissions are accepted only in .doc or .docx formats. 5. Please ensure you provide a valid email id and mobile number to receive confirmation message on successful submission. 6. Content that has been directly copied from the Internet will NOT be accepted. 7. Assignments that have been copied and shared among students will be automatically rejected and are liable for disqualification. 8. Late submissions will NOT be accepted. 9. Strictly follow assignment format and complete all the details for each assignment individually.

When the student is ready with the answers of questions for a particular subject s/he may initiate the process of uploading the same by clicking on Upload Assignment link under the Upload column and against the row for that particular subject/code. The students need to be extra careful while doing this because the same should not uploaded against a different subject. In that case, it will be treated as Null and Void. Once the Upload Assignment link is accessed the following page emerges where one can view subject:

New Process (Step 4): In this new page students need to verify the Subject once again and ensure that the upload is initiated for the correct subject only. After ensuring that the subject is correct one needs to enter latest Email Id and Mobile number details. These email Ids and Mobile phones will receive the token number acknowledging the receipt of assignment answers.

In addition, one also needs to click the check box I accept the above Terms and Conditions after ensuring 100% compliance of these points. Once, the student (a) ensures the correctness of subject (b) enters latest email address and mobile phone numbers and (c) ensures complete adherence of all the instructions the button Confirm and Upload is to be clicked. New Process (Step 5): Now, the following new page will emerge:

The students are required to use the Browse button and select the correct file (.doc or .docx) containing the answers, complying completely all the instructions, of assignment questions. After

confirming that the correct file is selected, the student needs to press the Submit Assignment button. New Process (Step 6): On successful submission, the following screen would appear indicating the submission details with the token number.

New Process (Step 7): After successful submission Token number will display in subject listing page instead of Upload assignment link in the page corresponding to step 3. No further submission by this particular student for this particular subject will be possible.

This process needs to be followed by the student for each of the subjects listed against his/her name.
