BBA-Logistics Management BBA Logistics Management is one the core program of UPES, which has been designed to develop

to cater to the challenging requirements of global logistics sector. BBA Logistics management program aims to create industry ready professionals for the growing logistics industry .The term logistics is often misinterpreted to transportation. In fact, the scope of logistics goes well beyond transportation. Logistics is the management of the flow of resources, between the point of origin and the point of destination in order to meet the requirements of customers or corporations. Logistics involves the integration of information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging, and oftentimes security. Today the complexity of production logistics can be modeled, analyzed, visualized and optimized by plant simulation software. Logistics can involve a wide variety of consumer goods such as food, IT materials, aerospace resources, and defense equipment. The goal of these logistics activities is to satisfy the needs of the ultimate consumer. Logistics is the universal thread or pipeline that plans and coordinates the delivery of products and services to customers all over the world. Logistics professionals manage and coordinate activities in this global pipeline to ensure an effective and efficient flow of materials and information from the time a need arises until it is satisfied and beyond.
