Nandan Petrochem Ltd (NPL) was founded by Mr. Shreenarayan Agrawal in the year 1992 with the objective of manufacturing and marketing Automotive & Industrial Lubricating Oils, Greases, Speciality Products, etc. The scope also included contract blending & filling for Multi-National Companies (MNCs) and Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) operating in India.

NPL has entered into an Agreement with Meguin GmbH and Co. KG, Germany for manufacturing & marketing Meguin Lubricants and Car Care Additives in India.
Meguin was founded in the year 1847 in Germany and represents 160 years of experience in lubricants and stands for quality and sophisticated new product ideas. The company initially produced hoof greases, linseed oils, and carriage lubricants. The company expanded in 1890 to encompass lubricants for the rapidly expanding steel industry and the emergence of the automobile.

Engine Oil

On 2 June 2006, Meguin was merged with the world leader in additives LIQUI MOLY. The merged entity now enjoys leadership in both lubricants and additives on a global scale. Today Meguin with Liqui Moly has presence in over 95 countries throughout the world. In addition to consumer needs for oils, it provides total oil solutions to major industries and OEMs world over.

R&D
Research and Development (R&D) activities are an integral part of our overall operations and are directed towards the corporate objective of growth and excellence. Our Research and Development Cell, equipped with modern testing facilities, has developed customized lubricants to meet the requirements of each of our OEM Customers. For Greaves Cotton Ltd., we developed a special tailor-made engine oil which doubled the oil change interval from 250 hours to 500 hours. Super Clean Oils meeting NAS 6 specifications, considered to be a tough challenge even at international level, has been developed for BEML for their heavy earth moving equipments which are used in hostile environments such as coal mining, road constructions etc. Our technical expertise along with continuous R&D has been one of the major factors in the long business relationships with our OEM customers.
