M ama#P ete’s#C ream#C andy—Here at Trinity, Easter brings thoughts of selling goodies. Traditionally we have made chocolate covered peanut butter Easter eggs. This year we are trying something new. On Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday you will have an opportunity to purchase a $5 bag of!M ama#P ete’s# C ream#C andy.##This candy was a specialty of Rev Johnnette’s mother. We are fortunate to be given the opportunity to see how Missouri likes this Kentucky favorite. After you have tasted the candy, let us know what you think about the future of this candy making effort at Trinity. Proceeds go to the building fund.! The Reconciliation of a Penitent is always available in our Church to those who desire it. Reconciliation is particularly appropriate during Lent since Lent is the time during the Church Year that we are taught to consider those things we have done or left undone and accept God's forgiveness. Confession is fundamental to the worship of the Church. Individual confession can be affirming though it is neither necessary nor obligatory. To find out more about the rite, see page 446 of the Book of Common Prayer; to discuss or receive the sacrament, contact Johnnette+. This week, Episcopal News Service highlights the Presiding Bishop’s Easter message, and also features a story of how churches keep up the pressure to reduce gun violence.
