President Barack Obama The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, D.C. 20500 Mr. Rex W. Tillerson Exxon Mobil Corporation 5959 Las Colinas Blvd. Irving, Texas 75039 Re: Fearless Summer Heat resistance actions say “NO” to fossil fuels Dear President Obama and Mr. Tillerson, People of all ages and all walks of life are uniting in resistance to coal mountaintop removal as well as tarsands excavation, deepwater and Arctic drilling, fracking, Keystone XL, etc.

I have said before that I fear over-reaction and a repeat of the 1970 Kent State massacre. You must respect and protect the lives of demonstrators -- who are people of conscience. Your failure to begin reducing CO2 is blood on your hands. Your support for expanding fossil fuel infrastructure and unconventional production techniques that perpetuate global reliance on burning carbon-based fuels is morally corrupt at a time when it is abundantly clear we must earnestly begin abandoning fossil fuels. Fossil fuel expansion is just plain wrong Leave the tarsands in the ground Abandon the Keystone XL Redeem yourselves!
