Paralanguage Extemporaneous Speech Channel Discrimination Proxemics Section Five: (10 marks) QUESTION FIVE Answer True or False to the following statements. i. ii. Courtesy in emails is as important as in face to face communication. Memos are used to communicate information, enquiries and instructions and in a longer form , can serve the function of a report. The ultimate function of a report is not to provide a basis for decision and action. Terms of reference in a report is the scope and limitations of your investigation. Only public speakers have ethical guidelines which they must follow in their delivery of a presentation. Every good public speech has a general purpose, a specific purpose and a central idea. When someone asks us a question and we fail to answer, we are not communicating anything. The different values we attach to time are reflected in the words we use. One of the results of effective listening is not the resolution of problems. Poor posture does not affect your voice psychologically and physically.
