Death & Marriage of Jesus There is also the question of the young woman known as Mary—sometimes referred to as Mary Magdalen (from the Galilean village of Migdal). In Luke. Mary is mentioned in all four gospels.
This woman is never named and there is no suggestion in any of the Gospels that she and Mary are one and the same. a woman in the city. and kissed his feet. brought an alabaster box of ointment. is never named. he spake within himself. This man. and Salome. behold. saying. responds by saying: “Her sins. Mary is also present at the Crucifixion. which are many. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it. when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house. There are in fact several Marys present. for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven. and did wipe them with the hairs of her head. 62 . And stood at his feet behind him weeping.And he said unto her. and is introduced in t he chapter before Mary Magdalen: “And. it has been supposed that Mary Magdalen may have also been a prostitute. however.” Luke 7:37-50. and began to wash his feet with tears. which was a sinner.The Chirst Conspiracy As based on the Gospel of Luke. According to three of the Gospels. the same loveth little. would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. incuding one who is also identified in the Gospels of John and Mark as the mother of Jesus: “There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene. and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses. are forgiven. and anointed them with the ointment. Thy sins are forgiven.” Mark 15. if he were a prophet.” Jesus. The “prostitute” however.
“They made him a supper.” -John 19. and his mother’s sister. which shall not be taken away from her. and heard his word. Lazarus is a beloved disciple whom Jesus later raises from the dead. and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. “which shall not be taken from her.” This relationship also provides Mary with special privileges which makes Martha.” -Luke 10. Mary is under the control of Jesus: “bid her therefore that she help me” Martha pleads. it is very curious that the name and sexual identity of those referred to as the “beloved disciple” is not always stated. as noted. loving relationship with Jesus. she [Martha] went her way. although Mary is Martha’s sister. Martha and Lazarus (who Jesus loved). saying. and called Mary her sister secretly. she arose quickly. On the other hand.
Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. and a “son” to his mother. a motherin-law and a son-in-law—or a brother-in-law who takes care of the mother of his “brother” when his “brother” dies. This in turn could explain the relationship between the two Marys that became evident at the Crucifixion and why Lazarus was therefore a “son” to Mary (mother of Jesus) and why Mary was now a mother to this son.The Chirst Conspiracy before and probably during and after his Crucifixion. behold thy son!
