Here is my plan for when I eventually start a family, as well as a little backstory: I am still a virgin, and I am proud/not ashamed to admit that. I know I can control myself and will have sex when the time is right. I believe that it should be with the person you love and plan to spend the rest of your life with. Sure when I do it, it won't be just for making babies, as it should be a thing you enjoy just having it without having to wait 9 months for another human to appear. But I digress about that part. Here is my plan for my family when I start one, and what I will basically do to make sure my kids have a great life: - I want maybe only two kids. One girl one boy. If it turns out any other way, I will be happy too, but that is my dream family. - Both kids will learn the essentials of survival, self-defense and many other things for them to be successful outside of the city. - Both will learn to shoot guns when they are around 7 or so, and will get their own bb gun when around 10, or when I deem it safe and the right time. - I will let them join scout groups, if they want, and will let them do a lot of things that they may want to do, but will make sure they are not spoiled. I want them to be able to be social, and I want them to be modest. - They will learn that they should not expect that they deserve anything except love and support, and should be happy when they get something. That is how I think, that I don't deserve anything except love and support, and I am happy if I get something, even if it was free for the person, or even like...50 cents. - We will all go camping to help with the connection to the Earth and to help in learning survival skills - We will go hunting to learn more survival skills, and give my kids great memories. - I will be a caring, loving father and husband, to make sure that my family is kept happy, and above all, safe. - I will do anything to keep my family safe - I will make sure my kids know the cultures that they come from, and to not only take pride in that, but to respect other cultures as well - I will not force any ideals onto my children, as they should be able to think on their own terms. I will not force them to be any certain religion, hold any certain political following, or anything of that type. I will only try to instill what I believe and allow them to take what I say and think about it. So that is basics. I am writing this down more for me than anything, so I can remember it and look back for my goals, even though this thing will likely be buried by the time I get to this point in my life. Anywho, that is my random post. This is an amazing song. It is filled with such passion and pride. I love it. The Proterra version is much better than the first versions. Take all the death row inmates (Hey, they were gonna die anyway), and use THEM as test subjects.

What we do is this:

1) We test all the inmates that are in for Life WOP or DR, to see if they have any illnesses 2a) We take the extremely healthy ones, with no sicknesses etc. and use them as main test subjects for whatever wouldbe used on animals. 2b) We take the sick ones and test the medicines that would have been tested on animals, on them. 3) Maybe they will be more healthy, but if the tests show bad signs we can either: --a) Execute them so the suffering isn't too long or --b) Use them again as a test subject to counteract the signs.

So, what do yalls think? Here 10:49 AM 0 Comments (Add Comment) | 0 Kudos Translate Wednesday, December 03, 2008 Details of the Shoot Category: Life Alright, now that I have gotten somewhat past the excitement of shooting, I will now detail the event.

We head to the range. We have what we brought with us, and were ready to do some shooting... We head inside, listening as fellow shooters fire their handguns down range. The lobby is clean and filled with the small town vibe. The man behind the counter greets us as we walk in and asks how he could help us that day. We decide to rent one lane, two people, and use our Ruger and a Beretta .40 semi-auto. All goes well for a while, I start on the Beretta, and pop in target one:

the 9 bullets I loaded into the magazine. Then, my mom steps up to bat; she hadn't shot in over 7 years, and hadn't shot the Ruger in over 20. The pearl grips made it a slippery little bugger, screwing with the aim and sliding through your hand when it shoots. Not enough to have it go flying, but enough to make you notice it. I could feel the back corner of the handles smack into the palm of my right hand every time I fired a round and kept my hand under it. Then, after my mom shoots off the first six rounds of Express ammo (These suckers have some kick. Not as bad as a .500, but more than a normal .45 ACP), I load in the next six for myself (BTW I did all the loading, not a big detail, but kind of plays into the story). We set up my second target and put it to about 20 yards, just to see how good I was. Once the target was in position (This spot was just behind the lights, so it was a little darker), I brought up the revolver and aimed it downrange...I cocked the hammer and took a breath...deep and steady; I remembered what the Marksmanship primer had said to have better aim, keep calm, squeeze the trigger and just let it happen...let it happen. Of course, I was overexcited and pulled a little too fast and aimed off a bit, but still hit the target in the circles, scoring points. I cocked the hammer again, now knowing what the recoil felt like and aimed once more...the sights on the gun were off and seemed to keep changing position, meaning that we needed to tighten up the screws holding it in place (It was not a fixed sight, so don't worry about it being broken or anything). So, every time we shot, it seemed to hit in the wrong place in a different place...I fired the last six, and we moved back to the Beretta. My mom shot the next 9 and she loved how it felt; nice recoil, light, and fun to shoot. She punched holes in the third target and we moved on to the next target. Here is where the real fun started to begin. For a brief summary of the last 60 rounds of .40, I had to unjam about 7 or 8 jams. It is expected, and so I didn't get pissed off or anything, but it just came out of nowhere. What happened during these jams was that the fired case would stay in the chamber and the next round would load up and be pushed against the old one by the slide. So, what I had to do was pull the slide back, hold it in place with my index and thumb, and then push the fresh round down and back in to the magazine, and once it was low enough, let the slide go back to its position and release the mag. After all that, I had to rack the slide to get the old case out and then reload the gun wth the mag. So yea, I had to do that about 7 or 8 times...I lost count, really. But I do know that a couple of times, the case was brought out partway but was stuck, and what I had to do was the same thing, only just pull the old case out, and that was awesome since when I pulled it out smoke left the casing...you would have to see it to appreciate it. So yeah, then after shooting all the express rounds of .45, we switched out the cylinder on the Revolver so it would shoot .45 ACP, or basically the normal .45s. That was fun. Then we found that those should have been our starting ones since the recoil was not as bad. After a while, we shot all our bullseye targets and had a silhouette left:

...the best one, I believe. There is a different feeling when you shoot at a silhouette than when you shoot the bulls eye targets. I think it gives you more freedom to aim, whereas the bulls only have you in a circle and you try always for the direct center. Silhouettes have the whole upper body, which helps you for real-life encounters. Anywho, once we had finished all the rest, we were pretty much used to the guns and then

started filling the sil. up with holes...It was the most fun one of the group. We set the last 6 targets to about 25 yards, the farthest you could go, and then moved back up to between 10-15 so it would be in the light and you could actually see the holes appear, because at 25 yards and hardly any light, you don't know if you are hitting it or not, since the holes are not huge and only have less than an inch diameter, hence the caliber size. Anyway, I loved it and can't wait to go again. I will need to save up a decent amount to have it be worthwhile, since 2 hours is a LOOOONG time when shooting. 1:43 PM 0 Comments (Add Comment) | 0 Kudos Translate Tuesday, December 02, 2008 Long drumming 1/2 Category: Music

When I put it up, it will be the one that has "S, .40, 1" on it. I will post all of mine up, and the one my mom and I both shot up once we really got the hang of it. Shooting is probably one of the most fun and relieving sport/pastime that you could ever participate in. It is great for relieving stress, and is also great as a survival skill, just in case. I ask everyone to at least rent a gun and fire it at whatever firing rage is closest to you, just so you can feel what I am talking about. Oh, and I would suggest that if it is your first time ever firing a gun, then: a) Bring someone along with you who has already shot before b) Start with a smaller caliber (I would suggest between .22 and 9mm) c) Take the safety course ($60, optional) Anywho, I am just posting this because I couldn't film it...which kinda sucked, but oh well. Maybe we will find a place that will allow cameras.

Anywho, Pictures coming soon... Currently reading: THE MARKSMANSHIP PRIMER: THE EXPERTS' GUIDE TO RIFLE & HANDGUN MARKSMANSHIP By JIM CASADA 11:55 AM 0 Comments (Add Comment) | 0 Kudos Translate Monday, December 01, 2008 Drumming video of Me!! Category: Music
