Dear Fellow Burnsvillians,
You are invited to have a large impact around the world. Not only are you invited to make a di erence in someone’s life by your kindness…but it is contagious as well, who knows how far it goes. Included in this kit are three monthly calendars of ideas. ese are ideas to help you make a di erence in the world around you. Whether it is holding a door or cleaning up a yard, they are intentionally designed to help you think of ways you can care for Burnsville.

Here is how it works r Put the calendar in a place where you can look at it daily (on the fridge is a great idea). r Take some time at supper or breakfast to share some of the suggested ideas of the day/week. e daily kindness activities are not meant to all be completed. ey are suggestions of ways to care with love. r Choose an act and decide if you want to do it together as a family or to be on the look out during the day. r If the activity involves another person receiving the kindness (most of them do), hand the person a Pass it Forward Card that explains two things: why we are doing this and how they can share their story at www.iloveburnsville. blogspot.com. r Invite the recipient to share their kindness story, if they wish, at www.iloveburnsville.blogspot.com. r We are interested in gathering stories of what you are doing to share the love, as well as what people who received the love are thinking. So visit www.iloveburnsville.blogspot.com to share your story. at’s the basic idea. So, what do you say? You’ve heard of thinking “outside the box,” well, let’s think “outside ourselves” and get creative as we love others.
