Weekly Outlook: - Market may remain volatile due to F&O expiry The market may remain volatile as traders roll over positions in the futures & options (F&O) segment from the May 2013 series to June 2013 series. The May 2013 derivatives contracts expire on Thursday, 30 May 2013. On a the macro front, the government will announce Q4 March 2013 gross domestic product (GDP) data on Friday, 31 May 2013. India's GDP grew 4.5% in Q3 December 2012, sharply slower than the 5.3% expansion reported for Q2 September 2012. Investors will keenly follow trend in foreign fund flows in the domestic market. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) purchased shares worth Rs 18197.70 crore in May 2013 so far (till 22 May 2013). FIIs bought shares worth Rs 5414.10 crore in April 2013. FIIs purchased shares worth a net Rs 79234.10 crore in 2013 so far (till 22 May 2013). Weekly Chart Nifty

Technical View: - On the daily chart of nifty we can see nifty has started its profit booking rally from its higher levels of 6230. currently nifty is trading bellow its 8 days, 13 days and 21 days EMA and trading near its support level of 5980. Aggressive trader can make long position in nifty with strict stop loss of 5950 for target price of 6100 and position trader should wait for make any position in nifty. Weekly Round up: Market snaps five-week rising trend Key benchmark indices snapped five-week rising trend as profit booking emerged at higher levels. Sentiment was impacted by poor earnings from frontline companies L&T and SBI. Weak global cues after disappointing data from China and comments from the US Federal Reserve about tapering its stimulus program also dampened sentiment. The market declined in four out of five trading sessions in the week ended Friday, 24 May 2013. In the week ended Friday, 24 May 2013, the 30-share S&P BSE Sensex fell 581.79 points or 2.87% to 19,704.33. The 50unit CNX Nifty declined 203.75 points or 3.29% to 5,983.55. The BSE Mid-Cap index fell 3.43% and the BSE Small-Cap index declined 3.33%. Both these indices underperformed the Sensex. FIIs were the net buyer of Equity worth Rs 2005.31 crore while DIIs were the net seller worth Rs 3275.41 crore
