Jia Hua!” a high pitched scream filled the house as feets scattered around. “Mong! She’s not in her room.” “Li, honey, calm down. We’ll find her.” Mong tried to calm his wife down. “When?!” the impatient women shouted. The frustrated husband was about to speak when one of his men spoke. “Sir, we found this right outside young miss’s window.” he showed
his master a piece of clothing with blood stains on it. --“Hush you little brat!!” a rasp voice came. “Stop crying!!” but the crying didn’t stop, it continued louder and louder. The squeaking of a car came around the corner. “Wang!! Get in!!” The driver called. “Qian!! I can’t believe I’m actually happy to see you!” “Shut up and get in. Boss is going to have our a$$e$ for sure!” --“Wang, I was expecting you half and hour ago!” “Boss I was trying to cover up the tracks so they wouldn’t find us.” Wang explained to his boss. “What happened to your shirt?” his boss asked. Wang looked at his shirt and saw that he had been bleeding. He knew it was from trying to escape through the window. “I guess one of the guys got a pretty good shot at me.” he lied. “You were caught?” the boss raised his voice. Wang just look down trying to avoid eye contact. “You got the baby that’s all it matters. Now, I want you to dump the baby in the river.” “But Sir-” “Now, Wang! It’s either that child dies or yours. Which one?” “Your wish is my command Sir.” Wang whispered to him as he excused himself out of the room. But before he can exit, his boss shouted out: "After you make sure she's dead, bring me her fingers. Or else..." he paused as he sence the fear in Wang's eyes. "..or else, i'll have your son's fingers." Wang closed his eyes tightly and walked out to a near by lake with the child in his arms wrapped up in sheets. The child had fallen asleep by now due to the drugs they gave the child. He looked at the child sleeping peacefully and noticed her necklace. Her name was printed on it. “Chen Jia Hua.” he read. He closed his eyes painfully and dipped the child’s body into the freezing water. Chapter One (Part 2) Selling Cinderella… Chapter 2 (part two): “Dad!” Wang jerked around. Embarrassed that he’d been caught by his son. “Dad what are you doing?” Wang quickly pulled the child out of the lake before it’s head could feel the cold. “Jiro! What are you doing here?” “I wanted to see the baby. They told me that you took her. Where is she?” Wang was sure he was going to break out into tears. “Jiro,” He calmly called his son’s name. “ I want you to listen to me. I want you to take the baby and run away from here are far as you can. Do you understand me?” Jiro slowly nodded his head. “DON’T ever come back here ok?” Wang could see the tears forming in his eyes. “Wang!” Qian called from the yard. “Jiro, I want you to go! Now!” “Where am I going?” He cried as he started to run with the child in his arms. “Anywhere but here! I’ll come and find you when I have the time.” Since Jiro was born, he was taught to command, not ask. And that’s what he did. He took the baby and ran for their lives, knowing that the other gangs would come for him soon. Even though he was still young, he knew the things his father did was bad, and the only reason why he stayed at the ‘prison house’ was for his father. Jiro ran until the baby started crying. He looked for the safest place to rest and he found it a few blocks away from a near by park. An orphanage home. Jiro shifted the baby to one arm while he was ranged the door bell. After a few minuets, Jiro saw the lights inside glow and when he saw a woman open the door, Jiro set the baby down and ran. “Hey! Hey! You! STOP!” But he didn’t. Jiro ran leaving the baby at the steps of the orphanage. The woman picked up the crying baby and took her inside. --“Any sign of her, Qian?” The bosses asked with anger in his voice. Qian shook his head. “Wang, I didn’t think you where this low.” “Neither did I.” he spoke softly. “What was that?” the boss asked him. “What did they do to you anyways, Yan?” Wang asked. “Wang, you should know very well, ‘what?’.” “Well, tell me because I don’t. What did the Chen’s do, to you to make you so mad?” “It’s not what they did to ‘me‘, but to ‘us‘. After the arrest in the ally, half of my men died. If one of my soldiers fall, we all fall. They took away the only thing that made me powerful, and now I’m taking the only thing that made them happy.” Yan looked into Wang’s eyes seeing anger and fear. “Qian.” he said calmly. “Give it to me.” Qian looked at Wang and gave Yan what he wanted. Qian closed his eyes as he stood his ground, while Yan pointed his handgun into the forehead of his long timed employee.
