Watkins Manor celebrated their 7

th
Anniversary this past month
with the residents enjoying “A Winter’s Eve Gala”. Residents were
treated to a fine dining experience in the midst of candle light and
twinkling snowflakes. After dinner, family joined in for our
Anniversary Gala entertainment featuring the Gate City Jazz
Group. The night was a blast!
Our family forum in January was not well attended and we will look
at different ways to communicate with families. We are hoping
that you find this Newsletter informative. Jennifer Ready, the crea-
tor of this publication, is both creative and passionate about the
content. We are looking at adding new sections that will enhance
the content and touch base on the areas we are working hard to
improve. We will also be conducting a mini survey to get to the
heart of some of the needs related to transportation, meals, etc…
We have weathered the storm of illness and are happy to announce
that our facilities are back to health. Thank you for your patience
during a rough few days. Our care giving staff is excellent and we
are so thankful for them. We are also thankful for the residents
who call us “home”. Thank you for entrusting your care needs in
us.
