Faith will work by "saying" it without "praying" it. Faith also works in prayer. However, when you "pray" it, you still have to "say" it. I w i l l repeat that because it's a little catchy. Faith w i l l w o r k by "saying" it, or it w i l l w o r k by "praying" it—but w h e n you "pray" it, you still h a v e to "say" it. Let's e x a m i n e the 23rd and 24th verses of M a r k 11. In the 23rd verse w e see faith w o r k i n g without praying, but by simply saying w h a t you believe. T h e words "pray" or "prayer" are not in this verse—but the words "say" and "saith" are:
M A R K 11:23 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall S A Y unto this mountain, B e thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he S A I T H shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH.

" I b e l i e v e t h a t I r e c e i v e healing from the top of my head to t h e soles of m y feet." W h e n I b e g a n to say it, w i t h i n the hour e v e r y s y m p t o m of physical deficiency disappeared and I was standing on the floor beside the bed, healed. Praise the Lord! T h e manifestation w i l l not a l w a y s come that fast. T h e r e is another Scripture that says, "Let us hold fast the profession (confession) of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised" ( H e b . 10:23). M a n y times I h a v e held fast m y confession, " I b e l i e v e that I receive." S o m e t i m e s it has been days before the manifestation c a m e , sometimes w e e k s , sometimes months, and once it w a s four y e a r s . But it a l w a y s came. I h a v e never failed to receive. W i t h something w h i c h concerns m e individually ( a n d not w h e n another person is involved, because then w h a t t h e y b e l i e v e has something to do w i t h it), I have l e a n e d and stood m o r e on the 23rd verse. I h a v e just "said" it and not "prayed" it. F o r instance w i t h money— I h a v e not prayed about m o n e y for y e a r s now, and I h a v e never been without. I a l w a y s just say, " T h e money w i l l come," and here it comes. P r a i s e God. W h e n I need a certain amount, I specify it. Once I needed $1500 by the first of the month. So I "said" it, and I kept "saying" it. A t times of prayer, I would not pray it, I w o u l d just say, " B y the first of the month I will have $1500." W h e n the first came I had $1580. T h e L o r d actually taught that to me. I did not see it for y e a r s . I had been saved, and then healed by the power of G o d as a y o u n g Baptist boy, y e t I had never even t h o u g h t about using m y faith beyond salvation or healing. M a n y w h o are born again h a v e never thought about using their faith beyond b e l i e v i n g for their salvation. E v e n in p r a y e r they don't use their faith. P r a y e r is a l w a y s a s t r u g g l e w i t h them. T h e y ' r e a l w a y s begging and c r y i n g , b a w l i n g and squalling, scratching and pulling—and g e t t i n g nothing, staying defeated. T h e last church I pastored (1946-1949) took good care of m e . ( A n d I t h i n k w h e n such is the case you don't have

T h e 24th verse deals w i t h prayer. T h e word "pray" is in this verse:
M A R K 11:24 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye P R A Y , believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

These t w o verses of Scripture are the ones which brought m e off the bed of sickness many years ago. T h e y brought h e a l i n g to m y body from an almost totally paralyzed condition, an incurable blood disease, and t w o serious organic heart troubles. Therefore, I h a v e always been a stickler for these Scriptures. O f course they are true because Jesus told the truth. I w a s healed on a sort of combination of the two verses. ( W h e n you "pray" it, you still have to "say" i t . ) It was there on the bed w h e r e I had lain bedfast for 16 months that I prayed it, and then began to say it—not think it. Jesus did-not say, "Whosoever shall think, he shall h a v e whatsoever he thinketh." I began to say out loud in my room, " I believe that I receive. I believe that I receive healing for my body. I believe that I receive healing for the heart condition. I believe that I receive healing for the paralysis. I believe that I r e c e i v e healing for the incurable blood disease." T h e n finally, just in case I had missed something, I said,
