Ingredients For the cake 225g/8oz plain flour 350g/12oz caster sugar 85g/3oz cocoa powder 1 tsp baking

powder 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 2 free-range eggs 250ml/9fl oz milk 125ml/4fl oz vegetable oil 2 tsp vanilla extract 250ml/9fl oz boiling water For the chocolate icing 200g/7oz plain chocolate 200ml/7fl oz double cream Preparation method Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Grease and line two 20cm/8in sandwich tins. Technique: Greasing and lining cake tins

Watch technique 0:33 mins For the cake, place all of the cake ingredients, except the boiling water, into a large mixing bowl. Using a wooden spoon, or electric whisk, beat the mixture until smooth and well combined. Add the boiling water to the mixture, a little at a time, until smooth. (The cake mixture will now be very liquid.) Divide the cake batter between the sandwich tins and bake in the oven for

25-35 minutes, or until the top is firm to the touch and a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove the cakes from the oven and allow to cool completely, still in their tins, before icing. For the chocolate icing, heat the chocolate and cream in a saucepan over a low heat until the chocolate melts. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk the mixture until smooth, glossy and thickened. Set aside to cool for 1-2 hours, or until thick enough to spread over the cake. To assemble the cake, run a round-bladed knife around the inside of the cake tins to loosen the cakes. Carefully remove the cakes from the tins.

chocolate moist cake Bahan-bahan : 2 cawan tepung gandum 2 cawan gula 3/4 cawan serbuk koko Hershey's (Naz guna yang biasa jer) 2 tsp soda bikarbonat 1 tsp serbuk penaik 2 biji telur saiz A @ B 1 tsp garam 1 cawan buttermilk (resepi buttermilk di bawah) 1 cawan Mazola vege oil (Naz guna minyak jagung) 1 1/2 tsp asen vanilla 1 cawan air mendidih (boleh dijadikan 1 cawan kopi sekiranya suka) Cara Penyediaan : 1 Panaskan oven pada suhu 300 F (lebih kurang 150 C) untuk membakar secara perlahan. (Naz menggunakan suhu 170 C). 2 Lapik loyang kek dengan kertas kalis minyak. 3 Masukkan semua bahan di atas kecuali air mendidih ke dalam mixing bowl.

4 Putar pada kelajuan sederhana selama lebih kurang 1 minit. Kemudian masukkan air mendidih dan teruskan memutar hingga sebati. 5 Tuangkan ke dalam loyang. 6 Bakar selama 1 jam atau sehingga kek masak sepenuhnya. (Naz bakar dengan suhu 170 C selama lebih dari 1 jam sebab mungkin loyang kek 7" X 7" yang digunakan menyebabkan kek lebih tebal dan perlu masa yang lebih untuk masak sepenuhnya). 7 Cucuk kek dengan lidi atau pisau. Sekiranya pisau atau lidi yang dikeluarkan bersih, maknanya kek telah masak. Sekiranya terdapat adunan kek yang masih basah melekat pada pisau atau lidi, bakar lagi kek dengan tambahan masa 5 minit dan uji lagi selepas itu sehingga kek masak sepenuhnya. 8 Sejukkan kek sebelum dinikmati atau dihias.

Creamy mushrooms ingredients butter 1tbsp + 1/2 tbsp

white button mushrooms 220 g(8 oz), caps wiped and sliced salt 1/4 tsp 1/2 tsp a pinch 90 ml (3 fl oz/6 tbsp) 1 tbsp

ground black pepper paprika single (light) cream chopped fresh parsley

1. melt butter in a small saucepan over moderate heat, until butter is foamy. when foam subsides, add mushrooms, salt and pepper to pan. cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes, or until mushrooms are cooked. remove from heat. 2. stir paprika and cream into saucepan, mixing well with mushrooms and mushrooms juices. stir in parsleyand serve immediately.
