Behavioural management strategies using (inc. attached seating plan): Seating plan – attached under document – SEN student towards the front of the class Behaviour Monitors off when teaching talking No hands up policy (when teacher asking questions) Use Red and Green card in student diaries to check student understanding – Green understand/yes/true etc Red – No/false/don’t understand etc Morpeth Achievement policy – Students who work well (students who may normally not perform well or SEN students – planners can be signed or postcards sent home

Starter Activity (10 minutes)

Fling the Teacher - /fling_ecommerce.htm This is a review on the previous lessons topic (Online Shopping) In groups of 5 – Students to answer the 15 questions as quick as possible, if they get a question wrong the game will restart – the first group to finish wins the starter Students to be split up into groups of 5 – Students to be giving letters A-E – this will stop students working with the people they normally do Count down time – set at 7 minutes Group to complete first wins – if no one completes in 7 minutes…..everyone fails the starter

Plenary & Reflection 5 minutes

Plenary – Online shopping True or False – In groups of 5, students will one at a time take a piece of paper out of a box – to test other students knowledge, they will read the question and other students in the group needs to identify if it is true or false The questions have been written in a way so they all sound True – students need to identify the true and false questions - Plenary Lesson 2 online shopping true or false.doc
