NEW YORK, N.Y., JUNE 17, 2013 —AT&T* has been named the fastest 4G LTE network in metro New York in a newly published magazine study. But that’s just part of the story. PC Magazine’s Fastest Mobile Networks 2013 study also found that the company’s wireless Internet delivers America’s fastest 4G LTE speeds – as well as the fastest in every region from coast to coast. Speed tests were performed in a total of 30 markets and six U.S. regions: Northeast, Southeast, North-Central, South-Central, Northwest and Southwest. Besides leading the pack nationally and regionally, AT&T’s network also ranked first locally – in metro NY and 23 additional markets across the nation. "The most important thing about a wireless network is how well it performs where you live and work," said Sascha Segan,'s lead analyst for mobile. "AT&T's speedy results in metro New York make its 4G LTE network a great choice for people who live there." AT&T 4G LTE is available in 278 markets and covers more than 200 million people. Improving the wireless network is a top priority for AT&T.
