TITLE Decoding the MBA Aspirants

Introduction

Now-a-days MBA is becoming most preferred post graduate course selected by 80% all-stream graduates (Lawrence-Andrew study 2011), therefore many institutes are also offering the 5 to 6 year Engineering + MBA sandwich courses. This brings us to our research to guide the budding aspirants to navigate through the process and to overcome the glitches coming across the way. The research has focused and studied in detail on following: Awareness through resources (most impacting awareness media etc.) Tuitions and Coaching classes preferred (Industry analysis) Admission Processes through which students go. Colleges which appeals the crowd and chose by most of the aspirants Our main study is concentrated on the objective

It has been observed that MBA aspirants play important role in making decisions about taking admission at different colleges and institutes.

Conclusions: Research Findings: IIMs are the 1st preference Tier-2 Colleges like (XLRI,TISS,SCMHRD, NMIMS,FMS) The aspirants are looking towards the B-Schools on the basis of the packages offered by the institutes after two years rather than the quality of education.

LIMITATIONS: The respondents were uninterested and doing just the formality

Area Covered was limited The study does not help the new B-schools interesting in branding
