MOBILE PHONE USAGE & ELIGIBILITY Objective The objective of the policy is to recognize the need for employees of IPL, to be accessible to our internal and external customers whenever required. Helping employees to communicate at all times helping in faster decision making. Scope This policy shall apply to all eligible employees of IPL and its group companies effective May 01, 2012. Eligibility Employees in the Grade E9 (GM ) and above will be provided Blackberry Mobile handset along with the SIM card by the company. In respect of all other Grades, employees have to procure mobile instrument and SIM card at his / her own cost. The connection will be on EOEP (Employee Owned Employee Paid) mode. Only Post – Paid connection will be reimbursed. Procedure for claiming Mobile Reimbursement: • General Manager (E9) & Above: Company will pay the monthly usage charges directly to the Mobile Operator. Any expense over and above the eligibility will be recovered from employee’s salary, payable in the subsequent month. Dy. General Manager (E8) & below: Employees will have to take a one time approval from HOD for the first time for getting Mobile Reimbursement.

Employees will have to claim the reimbursement once a month in “Mobile Bill Reimbursement Claim Form” (enclosed as Annexure A) along with original mobile bill by 20th of every month in Finance department.
