Dissemination efforts to appeal to the followers of religion can not be separated from language as the main medium. Several historical events have proven the spread of the role of language in proselytizing activities. Spread of Christianity for example. In 1622 Pope Gregory XV established a committee called the Commission of Cardinals which aims to foster the Christian faith in some countries. In particular missionaries assigned to spread the Christian doctrine in order to attract a few thousand new followers.2 These activities make use of language course to ensure the success of the mission. The missionaries in these activities to maximize the role of language in its function as a propaganda tool. Language as a tool of propaganda can be used to influence a person to adopt a stream, attitude, or a particular course of action. Similarly, the spread of other religions, such as Islam in the time of Prophet Muhammad. At first only propagated Islam among families and relatives of Prophet Muhammad, then gradually spread to all corners of the Arab lands, and even outside the Arab region. The spread was due to the language that serves as conveying a message or information. The role of language as a means of propaganda development can also be observed in the history of religion in Indonesia, especially in the spread of Islam. development, Islam has spread to almost all corners of the archipelago. Everywhere stood Islamic kingdoms. As a result it can be seen now, Indonesian Muslim majority. Islam spread so quickly and reach a vast territory that, of course, because the role of language. In Indonesia in particular, the role of language in the development of propaganda seen increasing. This was evidenced by the increasing number of television shows about religious broadcasting, for example pulpit Islam, Christianity pulpit, pulpit Hinduism, and Buddhism Pulpit. Another proof that, more and more publishing religious books are published each year. Secondly it shows how big the role of language in proselytizing activities. With bahasalah propaganda delivered orally and in writing, as mentioned above. Indeed, without a language nobody nobody unthinkable and unspeakable. Furthermore, the use of language is precisely what is important in determining the success of the mission. As an illustration, it can be seen and observed how the famous preachers, such as Zainuddin MZ, Abdullah Gymnastiar, Arifin Ilham, and Jefri Albukhari in meyampaikan messages of truth in Islam. How pastors Christian, Hindu, and Buddhist in religion seeks to provide an understanding of the audience. They are all trying to pack the course interesting language and the style of each. The teen was more interested in propaganda delivery style Ustad Jefri, the parents are more happy to delivery style propaganda Arifin Ilham, all ages enjoys preaching style of delivery Aa Gym (Abullah Gymnastiar), and others. the attention of the audience certainly can not be denied. All because of their ingenuity in "play" language.

C. Propaganda as a means of fostering and development of language As activities that use language as the main media, propaganda can be used as a means of fostering and development of language. This is possibly due to the proselytizing activities of an interaction between a person and another person. To foster and develop a language, then the language Peggunaan properly in these interactions will indirectly be a model or language exposure for others who listen to the language usage. Historical development of the Malay language in the pre-independence era example can serve as an example. Initially, only Malay controlled by the Malay community itself. Therefore, the Malay language is used constantly by those in the trade at that time, then slowly the people who are involved in activities that can understand and eventually master the Malay language. Malay then not only belong to ethnic Malays, but almost the entire archipelago has been mastered.

Similarly, if you want to make propaganda as a means of development and language development, such as Indonesian. In proselytizing activities should be used Indonesian is good and right. Indonesian indiscriminate use should be avoided. Mistake of using the word, word choice, pronunciation, and superfluous words, it should not be taken lightly.

The use of Indonesian is good and true in the propaganda delivered orally were admittedly very difficult to realize in full. The reason is very clear, that is because spoken language is the language of spontaneity. In addition, the use of Indonesian is good and right in da'wah conveyed orally sometimes making the audience bored and uninterested. However, because the formation and development of Indonesian is the responsibility of the whole people of Indonesia, then the mission should also note the use of Indonesian is good and right. It's a reflection of a positive attitude towards Indonesian, as confirmed by Halim, that a positive attitude is the attitude towards Indonesian Indonesian speakers are loyal, proud, and conscious of Indonesian norms.3
