Dear Mr. McCulley, Thank you for your email. Not being from around here, I dont know specifically what you are referring to by stating that the Mayor and City Council are keeping it from happening in regards to the ports impact on our regional economy. That is not what I have witnessed. My experience is that all of the above have shown a great interest in the success of the port. The city has consistently worked to market it, and continues to try to find the niche that such a port given its location can serve. Any enlightenment would be appreciated. Sincerely, William H.
