better scores in bottle than in barrel – but maybe that’s a good thing!

Le Dôme
This 1,000-case blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot is fashioned by Jonathan Maltus. Most of the Cabernet Franc
emerges from a vineyard near l’Angélus. This is a fashionable wine made in the spirit of the famed Cheval Blanc
with no compromises by a very passionate uncompromising proprietor.
Les Astéries
This 100% new oak-aged cuvee, a blend of 85% Merlot (from 70-year-old vines) and 15% Cabernet Franc,
emerges from the visionary self-styled revolutionary Jonathan Maltus, who is better known for the wines he
fashions at Le Dôme.
Le Carré
The 2005 is the debut offering of this garagiste wine from a vineyard next to Clos Fourtet. A modern-style wine
with no shortage of personality, it is a noteworthy new addition to the ever-expanding portfolio of Château
Teyssier’s Jonathan Maltus.
